About the Director

Twenty-one years ago, Fayola stepped into a classroom for the first time unaware that her passion for teaching would open doors and create opportunities which would change her life and the lives of the young people that she encountered. In the beginning, her teaching foundation was nurtured at Kilimanjaro Kindergarten. Later her knowledge and training was enhanced as she joine

d educational institutions such as Kid’s Cornerstone Preschool, The L.I.F.E. Fayola moved her teaching from the four walls of the classroom and was able to share her love of education within the community through programmes facilitated by the Trinidad Youth Council with her taking the lead on some of these initiatives as the chairperson of the St. Currently, Fayola is the Education Officer of A Woman’s Worth and the director of their C.H.I.I.L.D. Programme (Creating Holistic Integration through Involvement and Learning Development).
