Caribbean School of Dancing offers classes in Ballet, Modern, Jazz and Tap following both the syllabus of the Royal Academy of Dance (Ballet) and the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (Modern and Tap) as well as non-syllabus classes. Students are taken from the age of 3 and a half for our ballet classes and are accepted into the Tap classes from 6 years old.

As senior students of Caribbean School of Dancing and members of the school’s company, Metamorphosis, you did both the school and your country proud.

Thank you to Marisa L. Benain MA., LLB (hons) JP 🇯🇲, Founder of Plie For The Arts, for opening up opportunities for our students and for the wider dance community in Trinidad and Tobago and the Caribbean.

Thank you to our fellow local dance schools that showed their support for our dancers and sent their well wishes. Their talent is not just the fruit of Caribbean School of Dancing, but of Trinidad and Tobago and we are proud to play such a significant role in our local dance community for almost 70 years.

Congratulations also go out to Hana Delong who also represented T&T on the local leg of Amalgamation!

India was named as the first black soloist for the New York City Ballet in October 2025 and performed the Dying Swan solo at yesterday’s event.
