National Awards for Outstanding Fatherhood Each year we celebrate dads who have demonstrated what it truly means to be a father. Join us in celebrating fathers today

In August 2010 the John Paul II Centre on Fatherhood hosted the first National Awards for outstanding Fatherhood. Through this annual awards ceremony the JP II Centre on
Fatherhood recognises the efforts of 10 men who have demonstrated outstanding fatherhood in their families, communities, workplaces, and/or in the wider society. Nomination Process

Nominations for the National Awards for Outsta

nding Fatherhood are made by members of the public and/or Organizations to the Fatherhood Awards committee. Subsequently, the Fatherhood Awards Committee considers these recommendations and decides which nominees will be selected. Each year the committee selects two (2) awardees in each of the five (5) categories of outstanding fatherhood. The committee also selects one of the nominees to receive the Ellis Arneaud Father of the Year award

Happy Father's Day to all the dads and mentors who've played a positive role in shaping your children and mentees. May you spend today surrounded by those you love. We thank God for all that you have been and for being a positive image of father and fatherhood, especially in these difficult times.
