We celebrate Mrs. Jacinta Honore, esteemed alumna of St. Francois Girls’ College (Class of 1984), as she becomes the first female Principal of St. Mary’s College. Her remarkable journey—from being a student at St. Francois to teaching mathematics at St. Mary’s College, and now leading as Principal—demonstrates her steadfast dedication, leadership, and devotion to education. Both schools can take pride in having an outstanding woman leader who exemplifies excellence and service. We deeply appreciate her passion for shaping young minds and her unwavering commitment to our community.

We extend heartfelt congratulations to every school and steel orchestra that competed in the PanTrinbago Junior Panorama Finals 2026 – Under 19 Category.

Each band brought passion, discipline, creativity, and love for the steelpan, making this year’s competition a true celebration of youth, culture, and excellence. 🇹🇹

A special congratulations to our very own St. François Valley Stars Steel Orchestra, who proudly emerged Junior Panorama Champions 2026!🏆

Under the brilliant musical direction of arrangers McKeem Joseph and Nalo Elie, the Valley Stars delivered an outstanding performance of “Too Own Way” by Voice, showcasing innovation, precision, and musical maturity beyond their years.

This achievement was made possible through weeks of intense preparation and teamwork, guided by Drill Masters Shemilah James and Angelo Elie, with support from an exceptional leadership team:

🏆🥇 The St. François Valley Stars are the 19 & Under PAN CHAMPIONS 🎉 Our Little Sisters delivered an AMAZING performance of Voice’s Too Own Way, wowing the judges (and the audience) resulting in the top score of 277! They played their hearts out and we couldn’t have been more proud to see them shine on the big stage!!!! Congratulations to these incredible young women, the faculty and parents who supported them, the dedicated arranger and tuner who prepared them, as well as the many students and alums who showed up to cheer them on 🙌🏾
