Alongside her doctoral research, she gained practical administrative experience working within the university’s Division of Student Affairs.

She completed her studies in 2020 and returned to Trinidad and Tobago, where she currently serves as Vice President of Student Affairs at the College of Science, Technology and Applied Arts of Trinidad and Tobago (COSTAATT). 30 YEARS. ONE COMMUNITY. A WORLD OF IMPACT.🇹🇹🇺🇸

On August 29, 2026, the Fulbright Alumni Association of Trinidad and Tobago (FAATT) celebrated 30 years in Trinidad and Tobago- three decades of connecting people, ideas and possibilities across borders.

For 80 years, Fulbright has been more than an academic exchange. It has been a bridge between cultures, a catalyst for understanding, and a global community united by the belief that knowledge can create a better world.

Here in Trinidad and Tobago, that spirit lives on through our alumni: in the classrooms they shape, the communities they serve, the ideas they champion and the connections they continue to build.

In commemoration of our 30th Anniversary, our members shared what the organisation means to them.

30 years of connection.
30 years of exchange.
30 years of impact.
And a legacy that continues far beyond borders.

The best chapters are still being written.

Happy 30th Anniversary, FAATT.

On July 15, the U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly rejected an amendment to H.R. 8595 that would have eliminated funding for the Fulbright Program by a vote of 79-348. To those who spent the past few weeks writing emails, making phone calls, meeting with congressional offices,
