Art 6 Gallery

Recently before Wesley passed away, we were entrusted with the rare and very special opportunity to restore the official crest for the British Ambassadors official residence. Wesley would of been partner to who is also one of our prized artists and dedicated to building Art 6 and together they planned to restore the piece. Today the job is complete and in line with everything Wesley would of wanted to do except for his part, which was to add 24K Gold leaf to all the gold parts of the piece. The man that Wesley was intrigued people not just with his art work but his multi dimensional personality and unconditional love he showed to humanity. Through his work which are portals into these realms he was and is now fully attached too, it allows us to heal through the visionary that left us his work to admire and love. Though there will never be another to walk the earth as he did, we feel comfort in the fact that his story and his blessing that was bestowed onto us will grow and allow for future generations to evolve and grow through this amazing individuals love for all of humanity. Dealing with this loss has been helping me grow in so many ways already and has given courage to many people who like myself felt lost and confused and ostracized from society. His story has only just started. He has not left us. Stay tuned

Art 6 completed our first restoration project for the British High Commissioner's residence where we restored the official Crest of England! We look forward to more hands on projects like this and would like to pay a special vote of thanks to one of our own Art6 Artists, Nickolas Peeteman that facilitated the restoration of this project! We know that Wesley is watching down and smiling at the progress we are already rapidly moving at in the direction of saving the arts and culture and making room for all the new and emerging talent in our country and beyond !

This is part of our Beyond Four Walls installation where we feature different artists in spaces beyond just our gallery! Omesh is a British Artist working at Luise Kimme’s Studio, on these solid bronze pieces. Omesh is back in the UK and hoping to get some work sold locally so he can return and continue working with us, and in turn give back to the community with extensive workshops and apprenticeship programs! Creating avenues for all in the arts 🎭

Art 6 wishes to extend our gratitude for all the amazing people that have been continually pouring in condolences and honouring Wesleys memory with their stories of how Wesley has impacted their life. We also send special condolences to Wesley's family who are faced with this tragic loss. We are still in shock and dealing with it in our separate ways, but Wesley is surely in a safe place and is a true Ascended Master.

His journey may have been short but the hundreds of lives that have been impacted by this wise soul show us a way forward in truth and light as we build back humanity and love in our land. We Really appreciate you all and hope to see you at his memorial which we will update you on when we get the information.

For those who were blessed by the light of Wesley Kanhai, we celebrate his life on Friday 6th April, 2018 at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception in Port-of-Spain from 10:30 a.m. Everyone should try to get there early to avoid traffic and secure parking spaces. Parking is available at the Cathedral Credit Union on the corner of Nelson Street and Independence Square, and Salvatori Building space on the corner of Fredrick Street and Independence Square. Wesley would have liked for persons to wear white, but your presence is the most important thing. Wesley will be laid to rest at the Lapeyrouse Cemetery in Port-of-Spain.
