ProEd seeks to redress some of the problems facing our society, such as poverty, AIDS and delinquency among the nation's youth, by tackling the root causes of these social problems through the programmes and activities. The programmes also foster the social, educational, moral and professional development of young and mature women of all races, classes and creeds in Trinidad and Tobago. The Mentorship Programme prepares University and Secondary Students to act as Mentors to young girls who lack a supportive family and the social environment needed to overcome obstacles, personal development and academic success.
