VACANCY: MANAGER – SPECIAL EDUCATION SCHOOL

Position: School Manager
School: Palmeras Learning Centre
Start Date: September 2025
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
•Provide day-to-day leadership in the smooth operation of all school activities and programs.
•Supervise and support teachers and staff to ensure high-quality instruction and student care.
•Conduct regular classroom monitoring and provide constructive feedback to teaching staff.
•Review and ensure implementation of Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Schemes of Work in alignment with students’ needs.
•Foster strong parental relationships, addressing concerns and ensuring clear communication about student progress.
•Oversee the implementation and review of school rules, policies, and behavioural expectations.
•Coordinate and evaluate school-wide events, programs, and extracurricular activities.
•Promote a safe, inclusive, and nurturing school environment for all students and staff.
Qualifications and Experience:
•Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, School Administration or related field (Master’s preferred).
•Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in education, preferably in a leadership or special needs setting.
•Strong knowledge of IEPs, differentiated instruction, and classroom management.
•Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.

6. Patience, empathy and a genuine desire to support exceptional learners.
7. Valid Police Certificate of Good Character.
