❀️ | Sacred Heart Feast Week Has Begun! ❀️

Sacred Heart Feast Week is underway at Sacred Heart R.C. Church under the theme:

"Heart of Christ: Renewing Creation, Community and Compassion."

On Tuesday 9th June 2026, parishioners and visitors were blessed by an inspiring message from Fr David Villafana, who encouraged all present to embrace Christ's call to renew our communities through faith, compassion and service.

We are especially proud of the students and staff of Sacred Heart Girls' R.C. School, who played an important role in the celebration by leading the liturgy with reverence, enthusiasm and faith. Their participation was a wonderful reflection of the strong bond between our school and parish communities.

Thank you to Sacred Heart R.C. Church for continuing to provide opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship during this special Feast Week.

May the Sacred Heart of Jesus continue to guide and bless our school family.

❀️ Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us.

πŸ“šβœοΈ End of Term III Tests Begin on Monday 29th June!

As our students prepare to begin their End of Term III assessments, we encourage everyone to approach this period with confidence, discipline, and faith.

This year's examinations commence on the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul (29th June), a special day in the Catholic Church that celebrates two great examples of courage, perseverance, and dedication to God's calling. Just as Saints Peter and Paul remained steadfast in their mission, our students are encouraged to remain focused and committed to their goals.

🌟 Study Tips for Success:
βœ… Create a study schedule and stick to it.
βœ… Review a little each day instead of cramming.
βœ… Get plenty of rest the night before each test.
βœ… Stay hydrated and eat nutritious meals.
βœ… Pray for wisdom, peace, and confidence.
βœ… Believe in yourself, you've worked hard all term!

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." β€” Philippians 4:13

We wish all our students God's blessings, calm minds, and every success as they showcase all they have learned throughout the term.

πŸ™πŸ“– Study hard, pray often, and do your best. You've got this!

✨ Feast of Corpus Christi ✨

Today, we join the Catholic community in celebrating the Feast of Corpus Christi β€” the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ. This special feast reminds us of Jesus' enduring presence in the Holy Eucharist and His invitation to live lives rooted in faith, love, and service.

As a school community, may we continue to nourish our hearts through prayer, kindness, and compassion, reflecting Christ's love in all that we do.

πŸ’‘ Fun Fact:
The name "Corpus Christi" is Latin for "Body of Christ."
The feast was established by Pope Urban IV in 1264 and is celebrated by Catholics around the world through Masses and Eucharistic processions.

🌺✨ Celebrating Indian Arrival Day 2026 ✨🌺

Today, we celebrate the rich history, culture, and traditions that make Trinidad and Tobago the beautiful, diverse nation we call home. πŸ‡ΉπŸ‡Ή

Indian Arrival Day reminds us of the journey of the passengers aboard the Fatel Razack and the lasting impact their descendants have had on our country's food, music, festivals, language, faith, and way of life.

At Sacred Heart Girls' R.C. School, we encourage our young ladies to learn about, appreciate, and celebrate the many cultures that contribute to our national story. ❀️

🌟 Fun Fact: The Fatel Razack arrived in Trinidad on May 30, 1845, carrying the first group of Indian immigrants whose legacy continues to enrich our nation today.

Happy Indian Arrival Day from the Parent Support Group of Sacred Heart Girls' R.C. School!

❀️🀍 Together, we learn. Together, we celebrate. Together, we shine.

Today, the Catholic Church celebrates the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles, the moment that gave them courage, faith and the mission to spread God’s word to the world. ❀️

πŸŽ‰ Fun Fact: Pentecost is often called the β€œBirthday of the Church” because it marks the beginning of the Church’s mission after Jesus’ resurrection and ascension!

As the Parent Support Group of Sacred Heart Girls’ R.C. School, we pray that the Holy Spirit continues to guide our students, parents, teachers and wider school family with wisdom, unity and love. πŸ™βœ¨
