The CCJ Academy for Law is pleased to announce its first webinar series! The Academy will convert its 6th Biennial Conference into three online symposia. The first in the line up will be aired on Tuesday, 19 May 2020 and is in partnership with the General Legal Council of Jamaica, UWI TV and IMPACS.

MEET THE 5th BIENNIAL CONFERENCE SPEAKERS
Grace Lindo is a Partner at Nunes, Scholefield, DeLeon & Co. She is passionate about the commercialisation of ideas and specialises in intellectual property, technology, e-commerce, trade, cybersecurity and data protection, telecommunications as well as corporate matters. Grace is a graduate of the University of the West Indies and, as a Chevening Scholar, attended the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she earned a Master of Laws with a focus on technology regulation. MEET THE 5th BIENNIAL CONFERENCE SPEAKERS
Mr. Donovan Walker, an attorney-at-law for over 27 years, is the Managing Partner at the firm - Hart Muirhead Fatta. He practices in the areas of corporate, commercial, maritime, real estate, mortgage financing, mergers and acquisitions, sports and entertainment law.
Mr. Walker served as President of the Jamaican Bar Association (2014-2016). He is currently a Vice-President of the Organisation of Commonwealth Caribbean Bar Associations (OCCBA). He is the Chairman of Subway (Jamaica) Limited, Director of the Companies Office of Jamaica and the Maritime Authority of Jamaica.

MEET ONE OF THE 5TH BIENNIAL SPEAKERS
Sarah Hsia is an Intellectual Property and Entertainment Attorney, admitted in both New York and Jamaica, and based in Kingston, Jamaica. She assists prominent US and Jamaican clients with trademark prosecution, enforcement and litigation before the USPTO, US Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, and United States District Courts, and the Jamaican Intellectual Property Office (JIPO).
She is one of the featured speakers at the 5th Biennial Conference, being staged under the theme “The Future of Legal Practice in the Caribbean – Catalyst for Regional Success?”, will be held at the Jamaica Pegasus Hotel in Kingston, Jamaica from 13 – 15 December 2018.
