An eleven-year-old primary school student is in a class of her own. Keziah john received a distinction in C-SEC mathematics after writing the exam in January and according to her, the journey has now begun. Reporter Jesse Ramdeo and cameraman Neil Romain tells us more.

According to this article, math students face challenges due to deficits in one or more of these 5 skill sets. If they can be identified, then they can be improved and result in an overall improvement in the student's understanding of mathematics. It's important that every teacher understands the needs of every child in addition to their knowledge of mathematics. Far too many are being left behind in schools and private classes. Come on teachers, understand your role!
