Hey Guys,
For the later half of 2021 we were MIA due to circumstances beyond our control. In that time, we took a look at all the weak areas students were experiencing in the field of business.
It was found that students:
1. May not answer a question properly because they do NOT understand what is being asked.
-As a tutor, I've explained to all my students, whether secondary or tertiary, to spend some time, thinking on what the examiner is asking of you. Most times, students do know the answer, however they spend time looking for familiar sentence structures. This is not effective, because examiners like to see if the student can comprehend what is being asked.
- Secondly, the points system can be used as a guide to see, how much to write. a question that is worth 10 marks, requires you to cover ALL aspects about what's being asked.
2. Students often complain or express their inability to do math related equations.
-In business, from time to time, it is expected that formulas must be followed in order to achieve a certain result. Whilst formulas may seem difficult to remember, the easiest way to master the art is to practice, practice, PRACTICE. With constant exercises and assignments, Trust me, anyone can do mathematical equations.
3. Just believe in yourself and maintain a routine.
In order to achieve success, one must be confident that he/she has the skills/competencies to carry out the job. It is important to us, that ALL students understand that they have the potential to perform well in their subject areas. In addition, discipline and a routine must be implemented to attain goals. This step must not be skipped!
Lastly, we have it in all of us to achieve!... Our learning classes has helped persons who were struggling to get a good grade on exams. Anything is possible!
