Santa Maria R.C. School

Today Ms. Lorinda Ramsammy and Ms. Shirley Mc Kenzie of Junior Achievement Venture Lab visited to conduct a one day seminar project for our students of Standards 3 and 4.

The session included engaging, hands-on experience designed to immerse students in the fundamentals of entrepreneurship by guiding them through the process of developing a business idea, understanding market needs, and pitching their concepts.
During the JA in a Day session, the trained JA facilitators worked directly with students to:
• Encourage creativity and innovation
• Build teamwork and problem-solving skills
• Introduce basic business and financial concepts
• Provide a platform for students to present their ideas confidently
The program was highly interactive and tailored to be delivered within a single day, making it a flexible and impactful addition to our school’s curriculum and national transformation curriculum (entrepreneurship).
