As we celebrate freedom, strength, resilience and the limitless potential of our people, we extend warm Emancipation Day greetings to our Mason Hall Secondary School family.

In just one month, we’ll be opening our doors to welcome our newest Class of 2031 Cubs and you, our parents/guardians. We can’t wait to begin this exciting five-year journey together.

Today, many of us mourn. We mourn the passing of a man whose commitment to education was, above all, a commitment to loving people.

Mr. Chukwuyere Edward Uzoruo was an educator who delivered far more than a curriculum. He imparted lessons in compassion, integrity, community responsibility, and the inherent worth of every individual. During his years of service at Mason Hall Secondary School, he helped shape not only the minds of his students but also their hearts and character.

Through his guidance, encouragement, and unwavering belief in young people, many students grew into responsible, compassionate, and successful adults. His influence reached far beyond the classroom, leaving a legacy that continues to live on in the lives of those he taught, mentored, and inspired.

Today, we remember Mr. Uzoruo with gratitude. We honor a life of faithful service, a heart devoted to others, and a legacy that will not be forgotten. May he rest in eternal peace.
