President Christine Kangaloo, is extending condolences on the passing of Errol Alphege Grant, former Police Inspector, teacher, and horse-riding coach for the Special Olympics.

The president shared that Mr. Grant became involved with the Special Olympics around 1996. He loved working with children and adults with special needs and devoted his time to teaching them.

Errol Alphege Grant was a Police Inspector and in 2017 was awarded the Hummingbird Medal (Silver) for Community Service.

We wish to extend condolences and to post this in honour of our beloved Inspector Grant who gave tirelessly to teach and support our children and many, many other special schools in equine therapy at Mounted Branch.

He was a true beloved soul who contributed to the lives of so many persons over the years.

He will be greatly missed and we are truly grateful to have shared so many years with him.
