MSS Spanish Club wrapped up their final session for the term with a vibrant colouring and chips & salsa afternoon 🎨🌮

Our students amd teachers spent the lunch session getting creative with Spanish-themed colouring pages while enjoying authentic chips and salsa. It was the perfect way to celebrate all the hard work, new vocab, and cultural appreciation they built this term.

Learning Spanish, one color and one bite at a time! ¡Hasta la próxima, club! 💃

On Friday 5th June, our Form 4 students embarked on their Annual Field Trip to Icacos 🌴

The students had the pleasure of exploring their country and visiting 4 incredible sites:
1. The Volcano - witnessing nature’s power up close
2. The Bunker- stepping into history
3. The Wetlands - discovering our natural ecosystems
4. Three sisters- taking in the beauty of our coastline

New places. New memories. One unforgettable day! We’re proud of our students for representing Marabella South Secondary with Ambition, Perseverance, and Discipline.

Congratulations to these four students who completed a workshop in sustainable energy conducted by CARIRI in collaboration with Paria. Students completed the course which included live instruction (both physical and online) and viewing self directed online content.

We are proud of you....

¡Qué divertido!🎉

Our Spanish Club recently enjoyed a Margarita Session where students had the opportunity to learn about the history and cultural significance of the famous margarita. We explored its origins, discussed how it became one of the most popular beverages associated with Hispanic culture, and learned key Spanish vocabulary related to the activity.

Both teachers and students enjoyed the session!🇲🇽💃🏻🍹

¡Fue una experiencia fantástica!

Thank you to everyone who made Anything But a Backpack Day a huge success!🤗

We saw a tool set, piñata, a hand luggage, a chest of drawers and so much more. It was fun, creative, and a great reminder that school doesn’t always have to be so serious.

Great work in showcasing your creativity and keeping it safe. Already can’t wait to see what next year brings.🥳
