Happy New Year everyone and all the best!

Parents, we are now barely 5 months away from exams, so you should be ensuring the following for success of your kids at the CXC exams:

1) Just because your kid is 16, 17, 18, it doesn't mean that they know how to study. Talk with them and make a study schedule. Similarly, you need to make sure they are following it, they are NOT adults, they still need some management.

2) You can cut down on co- and extra-curricular activities, but don't cut them out. Kids need school free time to release exam stress.

3) Perfection is the enemy of progress: don't expect of your child prefect grades. Any small improvement should be applauded.

4) Past papers are crucial, but just having them is not enough: get them printed (at least 10 years), and every week, make sure they do at least one past paper AND get it checked, via a teacher or even chatGPT, and they write in the correct answers.

5) Use textbooks for extra practice resources.

A grade 1 or 2 is very possible to get, even for a student failing until now, but it has to be with your guidance and consistency.
