Urgent search launched for missing schoolgirl last seen in Carapichaima

A desperate search is underway for a young student who disappeared on Friday morning after being seen at school.

Serlyka Ryan was last seen around 7.17 am on February 27 at Carapichaima East Secondary School. Since then, her family has been unable to contact her and is growing increasingly concerned for her safety.

At the time she was last seen, Serlyka was dressed in a white shirt, green skirt and black shoes.

Relatives are pleading with the public to assist by sharing information that could help locate her. They are urging anyone who may have seen her or knows of her whereabouts to come forward immediately.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Couva Police Station.
Her family is asking the public to keep her in their thoughts and help bring her home safely.

Carapichaima East Secondary students, teachers, Ambassador and PTA members raise red cards against Child Labour.

Every child deserves an education, the chance to dream, and to reach their full potential. Parents, ensure your children attend and participate in school. Working under age 16 is illegal under the Childrenโ€™s Act.

Let children enjoy their right to education and childhood.

We challenge Blanchisseuse Secondary, Mucurapo Secondary and Toco Secondary to join the Red Card Challenge.
