We are very proud of Princess Ryan's accomplishments: she has passed for a 7-years school and nailed our motto of excellence with her FULL SCORE of 20 in Creative Writing at the S.E.A. 2026 Exams.

Princess, a former prefect at Rosemand's, is a champion for God and he honoured her faithfulness to Him. May God's richest blessings continually be upon you Princess. Keep moving upwards. We look forward to all your future endeavours. Congratulations!!

We have nurtured and sent four students to the S.E.A. Examination and we congratulate the performance of All. We specifically highlight Matthieu James, who, with hard work, dedication and obedience, excelled, and passed for his first choice; St. Mary College (CIC). We thank his parents for the trust, humility, and gratitude displayed in support of him and Rosemand's throughout his journey which has brought him to this exuberant moment... All glory and honour to God!!!

Matthieu, continue to work hard and stay focused. Set goals and with diligence, humility and gratitude you will achieve great things.

📢 HIGHLIGHT: Marine Minded Field Trip to Maracas Beach 🐋

Education BEYOND the classroom!

At Rosemand's, it is important for us to afford our students the opportunity to acquire knowledge and experience.

In light of our 'A Healthier You' campaign, students journeyed to Maracas Beach to learn more about the ocean, marine life and how we can preserve the ocean and the aquatic organisms therein to create a healthier environment for their generation and generations to come.

Our students were facilitated by Environmentalist, Katrina Khan-Roberts, who took on an interesting persona, 'Mertina the Mermaid' while sharing her knowledge.

ABOUT THE FACILITATOR:

Katrina Khan-Roberts created a comprehensive and fun prpgramme to cultivate ocean awareness and literacy. As a young woman, she spent her childhood at the beach and in the coastal zone witnessing the changes of the ocean due to human activities. Using her B.SC. Environmental and Natural Resource Management, minors in Marine Biology and Zoology and M.Sc. Tourism Development and Management and vast experience, she published books and resources related to educating about the ocean and how to protect it.

▪️National Youth Award Winner 2022 - Environmental Champion

▪️Self published author of 4 Mertrina Marine Minded books (ocean literacy)

▪️Self published poetry books

📢 HIGHLIGHT: ROSEMAND'S DEBATE 2025

*This is not the live event. Students were given the opportunity to share some of their talking points from the event.*

ABOUT THE DEBATE:

A Social Science class activity, where Rosemand's Grades Five and Six debated on an incredibly relevant source of conversation in Trinidad and Tobago.

THE MOTION:

Should the government remove the Columbus' three ship from Trinidad and Tobabgo's Coat of Arms?

THE POSITIONS:

Grade Five affirmed that the three ships should be remove as they represent colonialism and savagery while Grade Six presented key points of the histotical significance of the three ships.
