Success Through Academic Readiness - STAR Tutoring lessons students and Salve Regina Preparatory School collabed on an experiential journey to the Ortinola Cocoa Estate in Maracas Valley.

Experiential learning is important as it engages students in hands on learning opportunities. By incorporating concrete experiences with abstract concepts, and then reflecting on the outcome, students engage more regions of their brain and make stronger connections with the material.Students are able to link knowledge learned from the classroom to real world situations. Experiential learning is one of the best ways to teach creative problem-solving.
