Today, we honour the journey of the 225 East Indian indentured labourers who first arrived on our shores aboard the Fatel Razack on May 30, 1845. Their voyage marked the beginning of a profound chapter in our nation’s history - one that would, over time, see more than 143,000 Indians arrive in Trinidad. Through resilience, sacrifice, and determination, they and their descendants helped shape the social, cultural, economic, and political fabric of Trinidad and Tobago.

As we commemorate Indian Arrival Day, we pay tribute to their legacy and celebrate the enduring contributions of generations who followed. May we continue to cherish our rich diversity and draw strength from the shared history that unites us as a nation.

Briko is now preparing for our next intake of Student Pilots, scheduled for late July / early August 2026.

If you’ve been thinking about a career in aviation, this is your chance to take that first real step. We’re looking for motivated individuals who are ready to commit, learn, and grow in a supportive training environment designed to meet each student at their individual level of readiness.
