πŸš‘βœ¨ GRADUATE FEATURE | ALISHA KHAN ~ EMT

Inspired by the loss of her father, Alisha Khan chose a path dedicated to serving others. After completing ETITT's Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) Programme in 2023, she gained valuable experience with Avatar Ambulance Services and the Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross Society before continuing her studies in Radiology.

For Alisha, the EMT Programme provided far more than technical skills. The hands-on training, clinical rotations, and real-world patient encounters strengthened her foundation in anatomy, patient assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills that continue to give her an advantage in her medical studies today.

"Having learned medicine from the depths of emergency care, I developed a strong foundation that allowed me to adapt quickly and approach clinical situations with confidence."

Her journey taught her that medicine is about more than treating disease. It is about compassion, teamwork, and being present for people when they need you most.

Today, Alisha continues pursuing her dream while carrying forward the lessons learned on the front lines of patient care.

"One choice changes everything. The chapter you learn today may be the reason someone gets a tomorrow. My experience at ETITT taught me that every lesson, every challenge, and every patient encounter is preparing you to make a difference when it matters most." ~ Alisha Khan, ETITT EMT Graduate
