A young student reciting to his teacher, while other students wait their turn. The verse he is reciting, from surah Baqrah verse 273.
These students didn't let technology get in their way nor sickness or poverty to seek sacred knowledge and learn the Qur'an.
How many are willing to strive to learn the Qur'an?

عن عبد الله بن عمر -رضي الله عنهما- عن النبي -صلى الله عليه وسلم-قال: «من تَشبَّه بقوم, فهو منهم».
[حسن.] - [رواه أبو داود وأحمد.]
Narrated by Abdullah ibn Umar (May Allah be pleased with him and his father) said: The holy prophet Muhammad peace and blessings be upon him said: 'Whoever imitates a person/people therefore he is amongst them.
[Recorded by Abu Dawud and Ahmad]
This hadith denotes that imitating a people or person in belief (aqeeda) makes you amongst them, if that belief is incorrect and against the belief of the creed of Islam, one should abstain from imitating such practices.
Like those who try to put effort to “Christianize” the pagan celebration of Lupercalia. Celebrated at the ides of February, or February 15, Lupercalia was a fertility festival dedicated to Faunus, the Roman god of agriculture, as well as to the Roman founders Romulus and Remus.
Today what is dedicated to St.Valentines.
Amongst the youth this is encouraged, and to those out of wedlock. Caution yourselves and children concerning this pagan tradition.
Islam teaches us to love our spouses, parents children and those close to us. It does not limit it to one special day to increase your love to your spouse.
من أحب شي فهو أكثر منه
Whoever loves something, he increases his love for it.
May Allah guide us.

Assalamu Alaikum
Dear students, parents, sponsors.
It is with sad news we announce the passing of one of our students (one of the graduates) sister Susan Rampaul.
We say 'Verily we belong to Allah and unto Him is our return.'
On behalf of the principal, chairman, council and teachers we would like to convey our condolences to the family.
