Good Day, the U.S. Embassy and the National Institute of Higher Education, Research, Science and Technology (NIHERST) are pleased to announce that they are accepting applications from sixth form science students from the North Eastern and St. Patrick educational districts for a full scholarship to the National Youth Science Camp (NYSC) in West Virginia, United States. Two students will receive a full scholarship to exchange ideas with scientists and other professionals from the academic and corporate worlds. The month-long experience includes lectures and hands-on science seminars presented by scientists from across the United States, overnight excursions into the Monongahela National Forest, and a visit to Washington D.C. The selected delegates must not only demonstrate academic achievement in science, but also show potential for thoughtful scientific leadership.

Kick start your football journey today! Digicel Kickstart in partnership with Manchester City FC are searching for the football stars of tomorrow! Young men age 14-16 (born between March 2000 - March 2002), this is your chance to receive hands on training, skills and tips from expert coaches. Try outs take place on takes place on Saturday April 16 at St. Mary’s College Grounds.
