Our last mobility took place in Trabzon, Türkiye between 29 May - 02 June 2023.

On Monday:

- Participants visited Çal Cave. The area around the Çal Cave has important attractions due to its natural and cultural resources. With these characteristics, ecotourism is one of the important areas of the city in terms of diversity.
- Historical heritage workshop: Akçaabat is a member of the Historical Towns Union and Houses of Ortamahalle is a very popular tourist destination. That's why a guided tour was done to "Houses of Ortamahalle". The participants learned about the history of Akçaabat. They also visited Orta Mahalle Museum.
- Participants were divided into three groups and had brief trainings on tennis, fencing and archery at Beşirli Multi-Purpose Sports Hall. They experienced different kinds of sports all together.
- Trabzonspor Stadium was visited and the importance of diversity in sport was discussed. The students were encouraged about creativity, unique perspectives, new opportunities and ultimately good sportsmanship.

On Tuesday:

-A guided tour was done to one of Türkiye's most famous landmarks Uzungöl which is known for its beauty and magical surroundings.
- On the way to Uzungöl, the participants attended the knife producing workshop which is unique for the district. They also tasted local herbal tea while listening to local instrument “kemençe” which has a big part in the city’s cultural heritage.
- They also visited İkiÇay Tea Factory and learned the process of tea production.
- Participants visited Dursun Ali İnan Museum. In the museum, which consists of three main sections, there are the wooden Uzungöl house built by adhering to the local architecture, the local archeological artifacts that Dursun Ali İnan has collected for thirty years and the sculptures and furniture made by Dursun Ali İnan from tree roots collected from nature. There are written and visual contents about the fauna, flora, social life and many more features of the city, its history, besides the culture and geography of Uzungöl.

On Wednesday:

-The day started with the visit of Hagia Sophia Mosque & Museum. Then, the participants went to Gülbahar Hatun Mosque and her tomb. They were informed about the city’s religious history and how impoartant was Trabzon with regards to historic figures.
-Afterwards, a walk was made to Ortahisar, the historical city center. Kalekapı, Zağanos Bridge and Valley, Muhibbi Literature Library, Kanuni House, Büyük Fatih Mosque, Trabzon History Museum and Küçük Ayvasıl Church were visited. After the city tour, the historical Kemeraltı coppersmiths' bazaar, Bedesten and Alacahan were also visited. An ACTIONBOUND game, full of excitement and exploration, was played by forming separate teams with participating teachers and students in the city center. Its digitally interactive scavenger hunts not only leaded them on a path of discovery, but also augmented the reality by enhancing their real-life interaction whilst using their smartphones and tablets. According to this game, the participants got to know the city better by completing various tasks by exploring many cultural, historical, artistic and sport-related locations of Trabzon with clues, maps and directions.
-Trabzon City Museum was visited by the participants. They had a guided tour of the museum. The students experienced animation, digital executives, kiosks, panels, specific habitats besides classical exhibition techniques.
-Trabzonspor Museum was also visited to enhance the theme of the week. The presantions were made by the host school’s students. The participants followed the history of sports and caught the importance of them for humankind for centuries.
- Towards the end of the day, The Panagia Theoskepastos Monastery (the Girls Monastery )was visited. A panoramic view of the city was seen from the hill by walking on the Boztepe Walking Road.

On Thursday :

- The participnats went to the Sumela Monastery in Maçka, which is on the UNESCO World Cultural Heritage Tentative List. They were able to see the old building and its parts (library, pupil rooms, kitchen, chapel, holy spring...etc) and witnessed the history of religion. Fascinating with its history and scenery, Sümela Monastery bid farewell to its visitors with its famous fog and rain. Afterwards, the dishes unique to our geography were tasted at the restaurant at the ZİTAŞ facilities, located at the summit of Zigana Mountain.

On Friday:

- Hosted by 17 February Anatolian High School, the guests were welcomed at the school entrance by the headmaster and the District Director of National Education. After the welcoming session, the participants visited the painting exhibition prepared by Synergy Art Group accompanied by precious pieces played by the orchestra composed of students under the direction of Akçaabat Fine Arts Anatolian High School. After that, the History Corridor, Art Corridor and Literature Corridor were visited within the scope of the school museum visit.
- Akcaabat Municipality was visited and the participnats had a meeting with the mayor of Akçaabat. In the afternoon, traditional and international sports events (Matrak, Beirut Table, Kuyu, Alengir, Plinko, Wall game, Puket, Football Shot, Three Points) were organized by the Akçaabat Municipality Sports Affairs Director at the Akçaabat Yeni Mahalle Youth Center.
-The participants experienced a” Turkish fest”. As a part of the fest, a horon show was held with the contributions of Akçaabat Municipality Culture Directorate. Later on, the students of the guest countries and the students of host school exhibited various dance performances reflecting their own cultures together.
-Through Museum Walls To Digital World Project, which offers a unique experience in many ways such as transculturaion, the introduction of different aspects of the countries, education, sports, gastronomy, local handicrafts, architecture, belief features, etc, ended with a farewell dinner and presentation of certificates.

Our project's fourth mobility took place in Warsaw on 10-15 April 2023. The host school “SZKOLA PODSTAWOWA NR 157 IM” carried out the week's program. The main task was to introduce the history of Poland and the capital city, Warsaw. Our students discovered the places connected with the former inhabitants, a multicultural society rich in their habits, traditions, and celebrations.
The first two days were the Easter holiday. Easter Monday in Poland, is known as Śmigus-Dyngus or Wet Monday. On this day, people will sneakily drench others with water. Be prepared to get wet if you are in Poland on this day! However, we weren’t prepared and got wet by Polish students. We all experienced an old tradition at the start of the week. We took a historical tour of Warsaw and visited some essential places in European history.
On Wet Monday; we had a walking tour of the former Jewish district with the Polish coordinator Agnieszka Kanabus. We visited:
• Getto walls in Złota Street and Waliców Street
• Jewish houses on Prozna Street
• Synagogue, Nozyków
• Saski Park and Krasinski Park
• Bankowy Savere to see the picture of the Great Synagogue
• Muranów district
• Court in Biała Street
• We also had the chance to see hidden treasures in Wołowa Street and Nowolipki 28 street
• Our last stop for the day was the tomb of Anielewicz in Miła

On Tuesday; there was a day trip to KL Auschwitz-Birkenau, Concentration Camp, and a guided trip to the Museum.
All over the world, Auschwitz has become a symbol of terror, and genocide. It was established by Germans in 1940, in the suburbs of Oswiecim, a Polish city annexed to the Third Reich by the N***s. Its name was changed to Auschwitz, which also became the name of Konzentrationslager Auschwitz.
A visit to the authentic Memorial Site was a unique educational experience.

On Wednesday; a welcoming session in school was held by host teachers and students.
We met with the school headmaster, project students, and teachers. Students were divided into small groups and talked about their countries and culture.
All the participants attended the workshop “Make Love Not War”. They printed their unique designs on white t-shirts or bags. They appreciated peace over war.

On Thursday; Murals and The History Of Polish Jews
Muranów, a housing development built upon the ruins of the Warsaw ghetto, has recently gained recognition as an open-air art gallery. In the last few years, nine large pieces of artwork were painted in the gateways and on building walls. Some of them, such as the mural of Ludwik Zamenhof, Janusz Korczak, or Marek Edelman, are closely related to the history of the district; others, more abstract ones, such as the Etam Cru mural at Dzielna Steet, add a splash of color to the local landscape.

Once again all participants were divided into groups which have at least one member from a different country to play a city game. They had a walk along the traces of commemoration: the murals of Muranów.

Then, we visited the POLIN Museum, the rewarded museum of the history of Polish Jews. The Museum is a modern institution of culture - it is a historical museum that presents the 1000 years of Jewish life in the Polish lands. It is also a place of meeting and dialogue among those who wish to explore the past and present Jewish culture, those eager to draw conclusions for the future from Polish-Jewish history, and finally, those who are ready to face the stereotypes and oppose xenophobia and nationalistic prejudices that threaten today’s societies. By promoting the ideas of openness, tolerance, and truth, POLIN Museum contributes to the mutual understanding and respect among Poles and Jews.

On our last day; we visited the Museum of Warsaw Uprising which is a tribute of Warsaw’s residents to those who fought and died for independent Poland and its free capital.
After the visit, participants had a walk in the Old Town to see the oldest districts in Warsaw, the architecture of the Old Warsaw, unique and forgotten places, old backyards, and chapels.

As a result of, being able to experience individual and observational learning with the help of the activities which supported critical thinking, we hope that after the visits to the museums, students will understand the threads of nationalism and prejudice. Moreover, they will be able to improve their positive attitudes, apply the lessons of ethics and morals in real places, grow respect, and equality for humankind, and change their attitudes against violence.

Our third mobility took place in LICEUL TEORETIC “AVRAM IANCU” Brad, ROMANIA between 07-11 November, and we focused on “mines and museums”. The program started with welcoming the school and meeting with school headmaster Bogdan Mihai ŞTEFAN. The participants visited the school and its departments. The Romanian education system, school activities, the historical region of Brad, and its museums were introduced to the guests.

Students attended an English lesson with Elena Băd after ice-breaking activities prepared by Adrian Fărău and they had an Art Workshop with Cristina Poenar. In the meantime, teachers were in Music Lab with Ciprian Cristea for another Music Workshop. All participants had a really great time and know each other well by means of those activities as an excellent start for the week.

MUZEUL AURULUI BRAD - which is a unique gold museum that exhibits over 2000 thousand precious stones and the strongest proof that humans have done gold mining for too many years - visited and all the participants were able to see the gold stones in unique shapes and forms.

On the second day, our visits started with BĂIŢA MUSEUM. The Museum – unique in Romania and in Eastern Europe – was founded by Dr. Florica Zaharia after her retirement from the Met. She informed us about the exhibitions and Romanian textiles and the archaic craft of local weaving on a global map.

THE DACIAN AND ROMAN CIVILIZATION MUSEUM in Deva was also visited. The participants witnessed the relics from old times and Dacian and Roman Culture. Also, we had a walk-in at Deva’s Citadel.

Our next stop was THE CORVIN CASTLE in Hunedoara. The castle of the most brilliant king of medieval Hungary, Matia Corvin, the monument has a special charm due to the different construction styles, the presence of military and civilian innovations, as well as the tumultuous court life that has animated it for over 400 years.

The next day, we had a trip to ALBA LULIA CITADEL, providing a unique historical and medieval ambiance, within this star-shaped citadel are museums, churches, and the Unification Hall that sealed the union of Transylvania with Romania in 1918.

SALINA TURDA was the other stop of the day. We discovered the legends and traditions of the place and saw a special place from a geological point of view.

On Thursday, we visited THE ASTRA MUSEUM to learn more about traditional values and ethnocultural identity after the visit to Sibiu Historical Center, nicknamed The City with Eyes and in the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

On our last day, students attended PE class and did some physical activities. They also visited the school museum and learned about the success stories of the students and the history of the school. Teachers had a meeting and discussed the upcoming mobilities and useful applications. They shared their in-school activities of the project and Agnieszka Kanabus made a presentation. The teachers also had Art Workshop and shared their ideas about art and museums.

In the evening, all participants came together for a farewell dinner and the school principal presented their certificates.

CELEBRATING ERASMUSDAYS
Today we visited Trabzon City Museum and Trabzonspor Museum. Once again we witnessed that museums have a really great impact on students as an educational instrument.Our students learned their hometown's history and cultural values. They met the tourists from Thailand visiting Trabzon and had a really great time while having sincere conversations. They informed them about our project and had guided tour of the city museum altogether.
Students also handed out brochures, gave information about the activities they had and expectations for our project.

Our first “Short-term exchanges of groups of pupils” activity took place in Orgiva / Spain between 02 – 06 May 2022. The lead organization, IES Alpujarra, prepared the schedule for the week and welcomed the teachers from Türkiye, the Czech Republic, Poland, and Romania. The project coordinator, the Spanish team, led the meeting. We discussed:
• the project timetable activities and adjustments of them to complement them successfully
• management procedures and processes
• mobilities and dates, task sharing among the participant countries
• how to engage students in creative writing skills after experiencing Spanish Literature.
• using kinaesthetic learning to make our students interact with each other, practice a foreign language and improve their inner talents throughout the mobility
On the first day, participants visited to the white mountain villages of Pampaneira, Bubión, and Capileira. The chocolate factory was one of the sweetest stops. Then we attended a weaving workshop and also visited THE ALPUJARRA’S HOUSE MUSEUM.

During the visit to ALHAMBRA and SACROMONTE area, students followed cultural traces, traditional motives, and a combination of European and Mediterranean architecture.

A guided tour was done at the host school. Participants visited the school, its departments, and school activities introduced to the guests. While visiting the SCHOOL MUSEUM OF IES ALPUJARRA, students gave information about the exhibitions.
-A meeting was held with, Raúl Orellana, the city mayor at the town hall. The goals and tasks of the project were explained bilingually.

DON QUİXOTE MUSEUM and the library visited by the participants. They had a guided tour of the museum, saw the sample publication of Don Quixote in 82 different languages, and followed the process in Spanish Literature World.

SALOBREÑA and a tenth-century Moorish castle, called 'Castillo de Salobreña was also visited during the week and the participants found the chance to see the historical texture, the religious and cultural motives, and combination of the Mediterranean and European architecture along with the old buildings and narrow roads with naked eyes.

The host school held a SPANISH FESTIVAL. The participants tasted traditional dishes, watched a Flamenco show, and learn about Spanish folk and their lifestyle. A music concert prepared by both the students and teachers was given. Then they observed Living Pictures, representation of world-famous paintings by the students posed silent and motionless.

They took part and enjoyed SEVILLANAS and BATUKADA workshops. The host school students attended the activities along with the guest students, being accompanied by teachers.

Teams met with the school principal and talked about the project and further cooperation.

The project “Through Museum Walls to Digital World” is being carried out to enlarge the borders of our schools, enrich the quality of teaching, integrate ICT and technological devices into the curriculum and adapt our students to use technology for educational purposes in a creative way.
We, the partners, held our first meeting which concentrated on various perspectives related to the project in Prague, the Czech Republic between 06/12/2021 and 10/12/2021.
The host school STREDNI ODBORNA SKOLA MULTIMEDIALNI A PROPAGACNI TVORBY,S.R.O. prepared the schedule for the week and welcomed the teachers from Türkiye, Spain, Poland and Romania.
We discussed how the social, educational and communicative character of museums will be integrated into the education by using information technologies and how education and learning can be prioritized in museums with the help of ICT tools.
The project coordinator, Czech team, led the meeting. We discussed:
• the project timetable activities and adjustments of them to complement them successfully
• management procedures and processes
• mobilities and dates, task sharing among the participant countries
• the web2 tools and applications which will be used during the project
• how to make the museum visits productive
• teaching approaches beforehand in relation to the ability to analyze events in museum learning;
• defining conditions, objectives, content, techniques, methods, materials plus evaluation and matching them with the most appropriate teaching methods.
As a part of the first TTM mobility teachers visited NATIONAL MUSEUM and explored the Czech history, and met the museum manager to obtain knowledge about the visits of the local schools, the details about the tours and the methodology they use for educational purposes. NaFilM Museum was also visited in order to experience the interactive exhibits and learn how film works and its history. Teachers experienced virtual reality and dubbed their own animated films. They also learnt new things about film animation, editing, and sound engineering or how to make special effects.
By the visit to KAFKA MUSEUM teachers learnt about the worldwide known writer’s biography and his works by modern interactive exposition. After that we visited MUCHA MUSEUM which is the only museum in the world dedicated to the life and work of the world-acclaimed Czech ART NOUVEAU artist Alphonse Mucha.
Teachers attended a workshop to learn about making stop-motion films in KAREL ZEMAN MUSEUM. They made their own stop-motion short clips.
The historic centre Český Krumlov, which is protected by law as an urban monument reservation, and since 1992, it has been a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its well-preserved Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque architecture, was visited.
To experience the tradition of Czech engineering and design, we visited The NATIONAL TECHNICAL MUSEUM.
We took a city tour and visited Prague Castle, Charles Bridge, Old Town and found the chance to get to know historical and cultural heritage of Czechs.

MEET THE PARTNERS
17 ŞUBAT ANADOLU LİSESİ

17 Şubat Anadolu Lisesi is located in Trabzon, Turkey. Our school has a unique history. Akçaabat High School was temporarily opened to education and training within the body of Akçaabat Secondary School in 1968. Later, it moved to its building, where teaching and training activities currently taking place and continued its activities independently. Our school was completely built by the government and completed its 50th academic year in the 2018-2019 academic year. Our school has participated in almost all social and sports events. For example; in the folklore branch, we have won provincial, regional and national cups several times. In 1975, our school attended the folk dance competition held in Dijon, France and won the world championship.
Students graduated from our school always have immense success in university entrance exams. Our school has been converted to Anatolian High School with the authority dated 22.03.2011 and its name has been approved as “17 February Anatolian High School”. In the 2013-2014 academic year, a multi-purpose conference hall and a gymnasium were built for our school and a new appearance was brought to our school. There is an ITC classroom, one Painting classroom, one Music classroom, a Physics lab, a Biology-Chemistry lab, and a library in our school. There are also interactive whiteboards in each classroom. Currently, our school continues its education with a principal, two vice principals, and 46 teachers.

Our school has previously been a member of the consortium in the Erasmus + KA1 / Raising Digital Citizens of the Future -2015-2016 project. The project team consisted of our school teachers and they also played an active role in project writing and ex*****on. In this project, studies have started with the renewed faces of our enthusiastic education staff. Needs analysis and preliminary preparations have been completed.

MEET THE PARTNERS
IES ALPUJARRA

IES Alpujarra is located in Órgiva, a municipality in the province of Granada, 50 km away from the capital, in the southernmost skirt of the Sierra Nevada mountain range, specifically in the so-called “Alpujarra grenadine” area, in a rural environment traditionally devoted to farming and agriculture of especial touristic, ethnographic and environmental interest, given the singularity of its rural, as well as the urban landscape. Órgiva is the Please briefly present the partner organisation (e.g. its type, size, the scope of work, areas of specific expertise, specific social context and, if relevant, the quality system used). judicial, sanitary, educational and financial core of the area and it is home to a population of approximately 5000 inhabitants, a figure which is topped up by the numerous inhabitants of the surrounding villages and towns that also depend on Orgiva’s local administration. The student population in our school comes from the town as well as other 19 different surrounding villages and towns in the area. The distances to the school vary and may imply up to a 2-hour journey to the school each day for certain students. The Educational offer at our school includes Compulsory Secondary Education, Higher Secondary Education, Vocational Training Courses, Compensatory Educational Courses and Adult Literacy Courses. The total amount of students adds up to 700, although we also have 300 adult literacy students. Since 2010 we successfully run a Bilingual English-Spanish Program at the school in which more than a third of the total amount of Compulsory Education is enrolled, in 1st, 2st. 3rd and 4th year. Although our intention is to extend it also to noncompulsory years.
We also organize a mathematical Olympiad together with other coefficients in the area, obtaining very good results for our female students. The First Lego League international competition is prepared and we participate in the local phase.
