Session will be held between 11-16th May 2017 for officials and 12-16th May 2017 for delegates. Head-Organisers will be Arda Ulaş Mutlu and Ataberk Hoşgör.

Dear followers,

The disconcerting atrocities that shook Istanbul and the world were meant to strike fear into our hearts and shape the way we lead our lives. Indeed we live in uncertain times that challenge our spirit and put our courage to the test.

While in the face of such modern tragedies determination may falter and purpose may waver, IST 2016 remains strong and certain that the only way to channel this frustration into something positive is to keep doing exactly what we set out to do - to provide a platform for inter-cultural exchange, encourage the debate of ideas between young people, and strive towards a world that is more conscious, tolerant, connected and peaceful.

Organisations such as the European Youth Parliament become more and more relevant as the world insists on showing us its darkest side. In the heart of conflict, our ultimate purpose is to let it know how some values can’t be broken and some people can’t be deterred.

If you want to take part in IST 2016 and help us have an impact where impact is most needed, the applications for international delegates will now re-open until the 20th of July.

We hereby invite you to take a look at the Committee Topics of the 10th International IYF or EYP Turkey!

The topics were almost exclusively born from suggestions by the Chairs' Team and are aimed at tackling a wide variety of today's most pressing issues, in Europe and beyond.

We are very excited to see what discussions will arise from this booklet, what ideas will be put forward and what solutions our participants will arrive at during the International Forum!

Preparations are in full swing!

This weekend some of our organisers have attented the 1st School Session of EYP Turkey and seized the opportunity of being a part of a new tradition and discussing the organisational details for IST 2016.
