Survey to assess the level of awareness regarding Blockchain Technology among SME owners, professionals, and self-employed individuals in the tourism and agri-food sectors

The objective of the survey is to assess the level of awareness regarding Blockchain Technology among SME owners, professionals, and self-employed individuals in the tourism and agri-food sectors of Cyprus, Greece, Serbia, Belgium and Türkiye. The primary goal is to pinpoint the specific challenges encountered by these industries. Subsequently, tailored training programs will be developed to educate and empower individuals, related associations, training institutions, etc. within these sectors on leveraging emerging technologies, with a particular focus on blockchain, to effectively address these challenges.

PROJECT MULTIPLIER EVENT INVITATION
Multiplier event of the project titled 'Improving the Digital Marketing Competency of Adult Students for Small and Medium Sized Tourism Enterprises (SMTEs) in Europe', supported by the Turkish National Agency and the European Union, will be held on 4 October 2022 at Istanbul Medeniyet University, Tuzla Campus. Tourism sector representatives who want to participate in this meeting should send their name, surname and telephone numbers to the e-mail of Prof. Dr. Salih Kuşluvan ([email protected]). Number of participants is limited to 60. After the meeting, 20 of the participants of the meeting will be entitled to receive a certificate if they successfully complete the pilot training program and exams on the online platform.
