For many years, I believed that returning to music depended on making a better plan.

So I made schedules. I set goals. I imagined the right order for everything.

When those plans didn't unfold as I expected, I rarely questioned the plans themselves. Instead, I questioned whether I was disciplined enough, committed enough, or simply trying hard enough.

Looking back now, I think that was the real beginning of this Reflection—not an answer, but a question that stayed with me for years.

A few days ago, after a very long time, I sat down at my piano again.

Before playing anything, I rested my hands on the keys and stayed there for a moment.

The instrument felt familiar and distant at the same time.

Then I played the first note.

It was a small sound, but it carried the feeling of reconnecting with something that had been part of my life for many years.

Sometimes the things that matter to us become quieter over time. We may find ourselves somewhere we never expected to be, standing at a distance from something that once felt very close.

And sometimes returning begins with something very simple.

A moment.

A sound.

A first note.
