Another semester is over and we are once more proud to see the outstanding efforts of our ID & IAED students. Join us in celebrating the achievements of FFD301 Furniture Design students together on Thursday, January 9th, at the D Block 1st Floor.

Opening will be at 16:00pm.

Another year, different faces, same attitude 🤘🏼

We can't be any prouder that we were honoured to design and produce these 3 plaques for 3 super important people for our faculty, during our faculty's 20th year anniversary celebrations! ❤️ Love live the FFAD!

Today is a day we've been waiting for at least 5 years (.ergul.rds Hocam, is that accurate?)

Lead by Emre Ergül Hoca, this team designed & built these boats (we don't know what they're called) and today, we together successfully made it to the sea and got the joy & pride we deserved!

Well done to us & Ahoy!!! 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 🙏🏼

Today was all about repetition maybe? Or what else you reckone?

This 'clean' view may come as a surprise to you but we've been keeping one side of the mdf boards that's covering the tables in the Studio brand new for quite some time. The news is, FFD142 - Model Making is coming back home, to D.Makerlab 🤘🏼 so we thought, why not give our freshmen these fresh surfaces to be destroyed 🔨

Being a little productive lately in D.Makerlab for D.Makerlab 🤘🏼 All in order to increase the 'making' abilities / opportunities & at the same time safety of the users of D.Makerlab 💙

We've set the angle to 45(ish), fix the workpiece and drill the rod 📐
Did you know that we can actually do this? 🤭

It just pays off when you hear a student says how happy they are to actually see, touch, work on the real, physical thing that they imagined (& designed)

10 or 15 years ago (or so) if you ask us if we'll be keeping spare personal protective equipments (ppe) for you to borrow, we woıld say "Hell no, we won't" but now here we are...
