A very recently created association founded by the leadership of teachers working at a governmental institution. Nazhayat aims to bring adults back to life after retirement, over the age of fifty. We are also a course provider for teenagers and adults. Our aims are to adopt mostly the retired, integrating them back into society again to get them active and help them in the process of active ageing. To do this we are offering them opportunities in various activities. The facilities that can be managed at Nazhayat are;
ITC courses for adults (usage of pc and smartphones)
Language courses for both adults and teenagers (English and French)
Jogging (mountainous areas at weekends)
Cultural events at historical places (daily tours)
Seminars at specific days/celebrations.
The organisation targets to take part in EU projects and is ready to take over the responsibilities of running any partnership.
The general mission of the organisation is to expand education in the town.
Nazilli is a very large town with a population of over 120.000. It is well-known all over Turkey and in some cities of Europe Nazilli is known as the place where people live the longest. Approximately, thirty citizens are now over 100 years old. Nazilli is a town of agricılture. The most outstanding ones are fig, olive (oil) and cotton.The average life span is thought to be higher than other parts of the country and the reason for having a longer life span is thought to be having a diet of organic foods through regular daily life.

The organisation mostly deal with the educational topics of society. We guide The Universal Declaration of Human Rights and try to enlighten especially university youth living in the city. On special days, groups of participants are invited to conferences organised by organisations. Well-known figures give out the general outlines on the topic.
Key persons having a role in the foundation of the organisation have a great deal of experience in adult education and European projects. The founders are all active civil servants working at a local public education centre and in cooperation with that governmental institution.

The goal of this Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership is to create a new multilingual language learning platform for older adults - the STARLEARN platform. This language learning platform will be very user friendly and will use innovative approaches especially to address the needs of older language learners (age group 50+), like efficient interactive learning sessions, large fonts, a strong focus
on repetition, a self explaining user interface and a simple - but powerful - concept.
The new language learning platform will be available for speakers of German, Polish, Romanian, Greek and Turkish. Moreover, the partners will jointly create English, German, Polish, Romanian, Greek and Turkish language courses using and exchanging their expertise, knowhow and experience. All of them will be available for speakers of the mentioned five languages (DE, PL, RO, GR, TR).
After a period of presenting the platform to older learners (age group 50+) and checking it, the language learning platform as well as the courses will furthermore be improved. There will be a lot of dissemination activities with a goal to achieve 25.000 active learners three years after the end of this strategic partnership.
The partner organizations want to continue their cooperation after the end of the funded 27 month project period and to maintain the new STARLEARN platform in the future as well as to invite new organizations to join this project. This future cooperation will be funded with income from online advertising. An income which can be substantial if the intended number of learners can be
achieved. Using the new STARLEARN platform will always be free of charge for everybody.
