EXTENDED DEADLINE: 11 April, 2026

Dear Students,
Student Seating Area Furniture Design Competition invites Yaşar University, Faculty of Architecture students to design innovative and functional furniture proposals (seating groups, armchairs, sofas) for student gathering areas on the 6th, 7th, and 8th floors within the M block. The aim is to encourage creative, innovative, and ergonomic design solutions that enhance student interaction, comfort, and spatial quality.
Participants are expected to develop contemporary furniture proposals suitable for indoor spaces, considering material selection, structural logic, durability, and user experience.
Selected design, if considered feasible and appropriate by the jury, will be produced.

The “Current Issues in Interiors (CII) 2026 Symposium”, hosted by Yaşar University, Faculty of Architecture, Department of Interior Architecture and Environmental Design, will take place in a hybrid format between April 15-17, 2026, at Yaşar University’s Selçuk Yaşar Campus.
The abstract submission deadline for symposium participants has been extended until November 17, 2025, at 23:59 (GMT+3).
The symposium aims to bring together leading academics, researchers, and students in the field of interior architecture to share their studies and experiences on the themes of “Adaptive Reuse in Interiors / Design, Culture, Environment, and Behavior / Environmental Systems and Technology.” It aspires to foster an interdisciplinary environment for research and discussion, with a primary focus on interior architecture and design.
Abstract submissions should be prepared in English according to the format provided on the symposium website and uploaded via the CMT (Conference Management Toolkit) platform by Monday, November 17, 2025.

Current Issues in Interiors (CII) 2026 Sempozyumu
Yaşar Üniversitesi, Mimarlık Fakültesi, İç Mimarlık ve Çevre Tasarımı Bölümü ev sahipliğinde düzenlenecek olan “Current Issues in Interiors (CII) 2026 Sempozyumu”, 15-17 Nisan 2026 tarihleri arasında, Yaşar Üniversitesi Selçuk Yaşar Kampüsü’nde hibrit formatta gerçekleştirilecektir.
Sempozyum, içmimarlık alanının önde gelen akademisyenlerini, araştırmacılarını ve öğrencilerini bir araya getirerek “İçmimarlıkta Yeniden İşlevlendirme / Tasarım, Kültür, Çevre ve Davranış / Çevresel Sistemler ve Teknoloji” başlıkları altında deneyim ve araştırmalarını paylaşabilecekleri disiplinlerarası bir tartışma ortamı sunmayı amaçlamaktadır.
Bildiri özetleri, sempozyum web sitesinde belirtilen formata uygun olarak, İngilizce hazırlanmalı ve CMT (Conference Management Toolkit) platformu üzerinden 3 Kasım 2025 Pazartesi gününe kadar gönderilmelidir.
