There is always at least one reason for us to work hard every day.

For me, when I work hard on a daily basis, I feel fulfilled and I love grow and expand my personal development.

For today’s poll, I’m really interested in YOUR reason to work so hard every day.

I really like the following story, which shows how hard and conssitant work pays off at the end.

A Violinist performed a yet again brilliant concert.

After the show, a lady from the audience met him backstage.

She said,"That was amazing, I could give my life to play like you!"

He said,"Ma'am, I did!"
Is it:
🔸 Work hard to make the most of your hours.
🔸Our work brings benefit to society.
🔸Hard work is an example to our kids.

"How can I improve my reading skills and how can I make sure I understand the material we read in class?"

One of my students asked me this question the other day.

I wanted to share my answer with you here in case you have the same question.

Reading can seem daunting, frustraiting and even exhausting, when you try and read in a foreign language, such as English. Here are some quick tips that can help you improve your reading skills in no time at all.

📗 Preview the text you read.

📗Set aside time to read each day. One of the most effective ways to build your skills is to practice.

📗 Try to get the bigger picture of what you have just read, don't focus so much on each unknown word.

📗Take notes while you read.

📗Try to summarize the text you read in just few sentences, using your own words.

Do you find it hard to pass your University English preparation ( Prep) exam, also known as Hazılık in Turkish, or you haven't achieved the score on tests, such as IELTS/TOEFL etc., that you set for yourself ? 🤔

And every time you try to do something about it, you either get stuck or can’t even get started. Or, you've tried and entered in several exams, but you it seems impossible to get the score you hoped and worked so hard for? ☹️

Don’t worry! You are not alone. 🌞🥰

Several years ago a student, let's call him Adam, came to me with a sad and disappointed face. He has been studying at University English prep school for two years, now. He had three chances to pass the English exam, and he already failed twice. That was his very last chance, or he wouldn't be able to start studying at his department at the University. Adam was a very clever boy, talented, but he lacked motivation and some work ethic.
We sat down, together we made a study plan, we would meet three times a week for a few weeks and work on Adam's English skills, that he needed to improve. Off we went. Adam, did need some push, time to time, but was diligent, most of the time and most importantly, HE SHOWED UP, each and every class!!

A week after we finished with our classes, I received a phone call from Adam. He was so excited I couldn't even make out what he was saying on the phone. You guessed it! Adam passed his exam, with flying colours, and he felt that the sky was his limit now. 🎉🎉😁😁🎉🎉

Believe in yourself, and you can do it too! With some help, practice and consistency, there is nothing stopping you on the way to achieve your goals! 💪💪

I noticed some of you having trouble expressing when someone is making fun of you, or is not telling you the truth, in a fun way.

If this is you, you can use the idiom: " To pull someone's leg".
I know it sounds funny, but we don't actually mean, that someone is physically pulling your leg, but rather that they are making fun of you ( or someone else).

For example, your friend tells you: " Did you hear that John is dating Beyonce?". Then you can say: " I think he was just pulling your leg."

Another example:
" I panicked when he said the test was tomorrow, but then I realized he was just pulling my leg."
