By 5th grade, students are fluent in French. We're WASC accredited and a member of Round Square Kilittaşı Schools, proudly established by Keystone International Schools, offers a unique bilingual program for Turkish and dual-citizenship students. A short conversation from our Dutch Class. 🇳🇱

Sometimes, learning a new language is also a way of carrying a family story forward. 🫠

We spoke with one of the students who joins us at Keystone Schools every Saturday to learn Dutch, and asked him why he wanted to learn the language and what his experience here has been like.

For him, the answer is quite personal: to be able to speak Dutch with his grandfather. But his story goes beyond that. He also talks about how learning a new language can become a hobby, help you feel more confident while travelling, and make it easier to ask teachers and fellow students questions without hesitation.

For the past four years, Keystone Schools has been proud to host the weekend gatherings and activities of our Dutch and Belgian community, creating spaces where different cultures come together and children can learn, connect, and grow. 🇳🇱🇧🇪

Every piece of art carries a trace of a child’s inner world. We would like to thank our art teachers for creating space for this creative journey and guiding our students as they freely bring their imaginations to life through color.

A question that has recently gone viral on social media: Are we losing our colors?🎨🫆

At the exhibition, a small yet meaningful detail caught our attention—perhaps the most beautiful answer children can give to this question: The younger the children are, the more colors appear in their artwork, and the world becomes bolder and more colorful.

In this video, our Founder, Ms. Sema Kızılkaya, shares the role of French in Keystone Schools’ educational approach and how it helps students develop a global perspective.

While our students develop Turkish and English through a native-language approach, they learn French through a strong foreign language program.

Our annual educational trips to France allow them to experience the language, culture, and everyday life firsthand.
