ÖİK FRATERNITY ROCKS!!!

School Fraternity is highly valued in our Student Council. Each year, our senior students come together with their newly enrolled siblings at regular intervals. In November, a gathering took place where our 1st-grade students, embarking on their educational journey, had the opportunity to engage in a book reading activity with their school mentors. Additionally, the older students read books to their younger counterparts in kindergarten. Throughout the year, a series of meetings will be held in various formats, aiming to make the younger students feel the presence of a supportive older sibling at school. These meetings also serve as a way to remind departing seniors of their first year at school, encouraging them to take on the responsibility of being a mentor and passing the torch to the next generation.

🌟Calling all adventure seekers! 🌈✈️ This month, we had an amazing time at Kemer Golf and Country Club introducing our senior students to the world of golf! 🏌️‍♀️⛳️ It was an absolute honor to have Erol Simsek, the Golf Club Director and Director of Turkey's National Teams, sharing his expertise with our students. 🎉🏆 He spoke about the captivating history of golf, the talented national team players, and even spilled some game-changing tips and tricks! 📚💡 Our students jumped right in, learning the art of handling the golf club, mastering stroke techniques, and even nailing those impressive short-distance strokes with the help of our fantastic educators. 🙌💪 Can't wait to see where our next adventure takes us! JOURNEY TO ANCIENT EGYPT 🐫
Last week, the ÖİK primary school students travelled back in time with a time machine to explore the mysteries of the ancient Egyptian civilization. From cat-headed human sculptures to the secrets of the pyramids, we were fascinated by the ancient world and left with more questions than answers. Were the Egyptians superhuman? Did they surpass modern civilizations in any way? We couldn't get enough of this adventure and can't wait for our next trip to explore more of the world's wonders. Keep the curiosity alive! 🤔✨🗺️


ESKİ MISIR'DA BİR GÜN 🇪🇬

ÖİK ortaokul öğrencileri geçen hafta zamanda geriye yolculuk ederek eski Mısır’a gittiler. Eski uygarlıkları tanıdıkları bu hafta, takvimden önceki çağlar, eski uygarlıklar, mistik mısır medeniyeti konuştuğumuz konu başlıklarıydı. Kedi kafalı insan heykelleri, piramidlerin sırrı, çizimlerdeki firavunlar… tüm öğrencilerimizin dikkatini çekerken akıllarda mısırlılarla ilgili bir çok soru uyandırdı. Mısırlılar insanüstü varlıklar mıydı? Bugünkü medeniyetlerden daha önde oldukları alanlar var mıydı..? Soru sormaktan vazgeçmeyip, cevap aramaktan yorulmadığımız bir gezi oldu. Dileyelim merakımız hiçbir zaman kaybolmasın.

GÜZEL GÜLÜŞLER İÇİN SAĞLIKI DİŞLER:
Geçtiğimiz aylarda ağız hijyeni, diş sağlığı ve alışkanlıklar konusunda diş hekimi Sn.Sinem Öztürk’ü okulumuzda ağırladık. Öğrencilerimizle doğru diş fırçalama alışkanlıklarından şekerli besinlerin dişlere zararına, ağız hijyeninden, diş bakımına kadar bir çok konuda sorularımıza cevap aradığımız söyleşi için Sn. Dr.Sinem Öztürk’e teşekkür ediyoruz.
