NEDEN TERAPİ: Fabrikasyon bir kendilik yerine
el yapımı, kendine özgün bir benlik bulmak için...ya da herkesin içinde kaybolmamak için....

Kişinin dışardan asosyal, çekingen görünmesinin, kendini öz-güvensiz hissetmesinin altında, kimi zaman herkes tarafından onaylanma, beğenilme, sevilme beklentileri yatar. Bu öyle bir beklentidir ki, kişinin zihni adeta girdiği her ortamda karşısındaki kişilerin kendinden ne bekleyeceğini tarayan bir dedektör gibi çalışır. Karşısındaki kişinin ne beklediğini somut olarak duyması gerekmez. O herkesin ilgisini çekecek en güzel özellikleri yansıttığını düşündüğü elbiseleri arayıp durmakla meşguldür. O kendinden başka bir kişiy-MİŞ gibi davranır. Ve bu fabrikasyon elbiselerin altında saklanır. En güzel, en akıllı, hatasız, mükemmel bir versiyonun altında kurduğu ilişkilerde kendini güvensiz hisseder. Çünkü her an biri çıkıp, parmağı ile işaret edip “kral/içe çıplak” diyebilir. Bu riskin ortaya çıkmaması için tek çare kısa süreli ilişkiler içinde kalmak, ortamdan bir önce uzaklaşmak, derinleşmeden yüzeysel bir iletişim içinde olmak...Kişi arkasında gizlendiği simülasyon çehrenin altında güvensizdir ve başkalarının onu sevmeyeceği, sıkılacağı, ya da kendini terk edeceği duygusunu yaşar. Halbuki herkes için kendini terk ettiğini bilmeden, en büyük korkusunu kendi kendine yaşatır. İçerdeki özünü terk ettiği için, herkesin saklanan kendiliğine bunu yapabileceğini düşünür. MIŞ gibi olan yanına da öfkelidir bir yandan. Kendi hayatını, hayatın içindeki rollerini, kendi elleriyle yarattığı kendi olmayan suretine kaptırmıştır.

A group exhibition of works produced during the lockdown
in Bangkok, Istanbul, Riga, Rome, Milan, Paris, London, New York, Lima, Mexico City
projected on the buildings of cities all around the world.
During these months of forced suspension artists have not stopped producing work. They have been busy looking inside and outside of themselves. They have become something else while remaining themselves.
In this short historical time in which the world has been irremediably redesigned, the vision of those who redesign the world by profession and vocation is crucial.
While museums and galleries were forced to keep their doors closed, on May 17th the LAZZARO_Art doesn’t sleep project showed the art, awake and alert, that the artists had produced during the lockdown in Rome and New York.
A projection on the walls of these two cities and others, thanks to the active participation of many people who made themselves available to turn their appliances outside the windows.
Thanks to those who answered the LAZZARO call, it was possible to give light and color to the streets, balconies, roofs, courtyards, squares and monuments.
After the success, LAZZARO returns with a special event and bigger. Artists from many cities around the world have been called together to expand the first edition collective.
On July 23rd, at 10:30 pm in each city, we will project the artworks of new artists from Bangkok, Istanbul, Riga, Rome, Milan, Paris, London, New York, Lima, Mexico City.
It will start from Bangkok, the city further east, and as New Year’s Eve, LAZZARO wil travel the world.
For this reason, we invite the projectionists to take part again, together with us, in this serious game
LAZZARO_art doesn’t sleep is a community project, born from two people but has grown dramatically in recent days, with the enthusiasm of artists, friends, professionals in the sector, people known and unknown. Everyone is giving her/his little great contribution to an initiative that welcomes everyone's collaboration, does not contemplate jealousies and does not foresee any profit other than the social and collective one that derives from spreading art in a moment in which art is difficult to access.
