Abstraction is the language of line, shape, colour and form, often done in a simplified/geometric style that exists independent of real-life visual representation and reference. Many famous artists from Mondrian to Kandinsky used abstraction to present their artistic vision to the world. This project was done by a grade 4 student - I love the layers of colour.
