Hello and welcome to ArabicLights for non-native speakers.

In this series, you will learn how to introduce people in the Arabic language in a simple, easy way. You will also find the keywords before every text you read to understand the text and to learn where and how you can use those words in the Arabic language. We translate the words depending on the context in the text.

İlyas Serdar is a Turkish guy, lives in Turkey and studies at high school. Read and listen about him in the Arabic language and learn how to introduce someone in Arabic in a simple way. Then try to reply to the question about the text.

إِلْيَاسْ سرْدَارْ، طَالبٌ في الثَّانّوِيَّة، عُمُرُهُ أربعةَ عشرَ سنَةً. هو يَعِيشُ مَعَ أُسْرَتِه في مَدِينَةِ "غيرسون Giresun"، في تُركيا. هو يتكَّلمُ اللغة التُركِيَّة والإنجليزيَّة وقليلاً منَ العربيَّةِ. رياضته المُفَضَّلَة كُرةُ القَدمِ والسِّبَاحةُ والرَّسْم.
