Hosted for the first time by Romania International Maarif Schools, the Maarif Model United Nations (Maarif MUN) program brought together 109 young talents for a dynamic and diplomacy driven experience.

Our middle and high school students assumed the roles of delegates representing different countries within a United Nations simulation, working to address current global challenges. Engaging with diplomatic representatives from countries such as Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Palestine, our students had the opportunity to combine their theoretical knowledge with real world insights.

More than just a discussion platform, this program served as a journey of personal and academic growth. From English public speaking and critical thinking to leadership and consensus building, our students were able to unlock and demonstrate their full potential. ��The esteemed Board Member of the Turkish Maarif Foundation, Mr. Ali Çiçek, addressed our Bucharest Maarif MUN Closing Ceremony with a meaningful video message from the Antalya Diplomacy Forum.

Differences are not deficiencies; they are a source of richness. 🩵🩶

As Turkish Maarif Foundation, we believe that education is a fundamental right for every individual, and we support “living together with differences” in our schools across the world. 🌍

As always, on World Autism Awareness Day, we are aware of our responsibility to support the social inclusion of individuals with autism and to ensure their access to quality education. With love, patience, and the right education, there are no barriers that cannot be overcome.
