primary goals of CLRI is to provide leadership training and education to community members, particularly those who have been historically marginalized or underrepresented. By doing so, CLRI seeks to promote greater diversity and inclusivity in community decision-making processes and to empower individuals to take an active role in shaping their futures. In addition to leadership development, CLRI is also dedicated to researching issues that affect marginalized communities. This research is used to inform public policy, advocate for change, and promote greater awareness and understanding of social justice issues. Overall, the purpose of CLRI is to create a more equitable and just society by empowering individuals and communities to take charge of their destinies, and by promoting greater awareness and understanding of social justice issues through research and education.
