Turkey is a tourist-friendly country with lots of attractions, either historical or modern. If you want to experience the taste of adventure in the country. Here are some of the activities that you must try in different cities of the country:

1- Hot Air Balloon: Cappadocia is the most popular place in Turkey for hot air balloons flying above the valleys and volcanic “fairy chimney formations”.

2- Paragliding: The best place in Turkey for paragliding is Oludeniz Beach near Fethiye. You are surrounded by breathtaking views, perfect weather, and blue water as you fly over the stunning beach.
3- Kayaking: To experience the beautifule Lycian coastlin, kayaking in Kaş is the best way. You can stop at deserted coves and swim in the clearest water.

4- Mountain climbing: There are over 30 different mountain climbing areas in Turkey with well-protected trails. If you are interested in this sport then Datca, Geyikbayiri, Kaynaklar, Dedegol, Aladaglar etc. are often the most frequented places.

Turkey has become a very popular location for film shooting all over the world. This is because Turkey is a home to many diverse ranges of locations with beautiful weather. Ancient ruins and sites have built a unique character of the country and attract many potential productions here.

Moreover, natural wonders in Pamukkale, Cappadocia, beaches, waterfalls, rivers, mountains, modern architecture and unique towns already look like beautiful film sets. A lot of European and Hollywood films have been shot in the past in the Cappadocia region, which is like an open-air film studio.

Of course, a lot of Turkish series are also shot in beautiful locations of the country. If you are lucky, you might even catch a live film shoot somewhere in the city and get the chance to see behind the scenes of a drama!

Turkey is very well-known all over the world because of its cuisine, and street food is a big part of the culture. Almost every area in Turkey has its own specialty. Some of the popular street foods are:

1- Midye: Mussels that are stuffed with rice, spices, and onions and are often seen in small carts or counters in random places in the streets. The sellers often squeeze a lot of lemon in it and hand it to you.

2- Lahmacun: Flatbread that is baked very thin and crispy. Consisting of minced lamb meat, it is often filled with some vegetables like parsley and onions and eaten as a wrap.

3- Islak Hamburger: “Wet Hamburger” is covered in tomato sauce and filled with flavor. The bun becomes soft and juicy. It is a very popular late-night snack.

4- Kokorec: The very famous kokorec is char grilled and skewered sheep’s intestines that are served inside bread with spices.

5- Doner: Another well-known Turkish food that is served as a wrap or a sandwich. This consists of pieces of meat that are seasoned and then grilled vertically.

6- Balik Ekmek: Best enjoyed at the coasts of Eminonu or Karakoy, the fresh grilled fish with vegetables is very delicious street food in Istanbul.

المطبخ التركي مشهور جداً في جميع أنحاء العالم، وطعام الشارع هو جزء كبير من الثقافة.
تقريباً كل منطقة في تركيا لها نكهات وأكلات خاصة بها، ومن هذه الأكلات الشعبية :

1- midye : بلح البحر المحشي بالأرز والبهارات والبصل، وغالبًا تراه في عربات صغيرة في أماكن عشوائية في الشوارع. بائع الميديا يقوم بعصر الكثير من الليمون عليه ويسلمه إليك.

2-lahmacun : خبز يُخبز بشكل رقيق ومقرمش. تتكون من لحم الضأن المفروم، وغالباً يتم حشوه ببعض الخضار مثل البقدونس والبصل.
3- ıslak hamburger : برجر مغطى بصلصة الطماطم و مليء بالنكهات المختلفة، يصبح الخبز طري ورائع.
وهي وجبة خفيفة مشهورة جداً في وقت متأخر من الليل.

4- kokoreç: أكلة مشهورة عبارة عن أمعاء الضأن المشوية على الفحم وتقدم داخل الخبز مع التوابل.

5- döner : أكلة أخرى مشهورة يتم تقديمها على شكل ساندويتش، يتكون هذا من قطع لحم متبلة مشوية رأسياً.

6- balık ekmek : أفضل ما يمكن الاستمتاع به على سواحل Eminonu أو Karakoy، السمك الطازج المشوي مع الخضار هو طعام شائع للغاية في اسطنبول.

With stunning architecture, Salt Galata is the perfect blend of both modern and historic architecture. Originally a bank, Salt Galata is now a cultural complex where students and tourists can come and enjoy the library resources, a bookstore, art exhibitions, conference rooms, cafés, and a rooftop restaurant.

The place is always vibrant with visitors, mainly students who want a quiet place to study and complete their assignments. Plus, there is a special area for research students (Master's and Ph.D.) who can register for free from Salt Galata’s website and use the space whenever needed.

If you are bored with constantly studying from home, this is a nice change of surroundings where you can also relax and even borrow books from the library and indulge in a nice book.

Like many European cities, Istanbul is also trying to make the city bicycle friendly by adding a lot of special bicycle routes. Cycling is one of the most enjoyable ways to commute around the city, as you can enjoy the views and reach your destination by beating the traffic.

If you do not own a bicycle, then there are some applications that can help you participate in this as well, such as Isbike. This is a public bicycle sharing system which only requires you to register and input your credit card number, and you pay as you go.

Some of the well-known bicycle routes in Istanbul are:

Since Sultan Mehmed, the Conqueror, conquered the city of Istanbul and until today, it is a destination for dreamers and researchers looking for new beginnings. Before the conquest, its name was Constantinople, and it was also known as the land of Anatolia. After 1453, it had a different name (Istanbul) and of course, before this name, it received different other names such as Asitane and Islambol

What matters to us in this tale are the many years of prosperity, urbanization, influence, and power that have been associated with this new name. To what extent can new names inspire us with new stories? To what extent can new places inspire us and bring us a new vision of the future

منذ أن فتح السلطان محمد الفاتح مدينة اسطنبول وإلى اليوم، وهي وجهة للحالمين والباحثين عن بدايات جديدة، قبل الفتح كان اسمها القسطنطينية، وكانت تعرف أيضاً بأرض الأناضول، لكن بعد عام 1453 أصبح لها اسم مختلف ( اسطنبول ) وطبعاً قبل هذا الاسم ورد لها تسميات غير رسمية مثل الأستانة وإسلامبول.

ما يهمنا في هذه الحكاية هي سنوات طويلة من الازدهار والتحضر والنفوذ والقوة التي ارتبطت بهذا الاسم الجديد، إلى أي مدى يمكن أن تلهمنا الأسماء الجديدة قصصاً جديدة؟ إلى أي مدى يمكن أن تلهمنا الأماكن الجديدة نظرة ورؤية جديدة للمستقبل؟
