🇹🇷🇧🇬 Successfully Conducted Training Courses in Istanbul (9–15.02.2026)

During the period 9–15 February 2026, we successfully hosted 15 teachers in Istanbul from:

-“Dobri Zhelyazkov” Vocational High School of Textiles and Apparel – Sliven

-66th Secondary School “Filip Stanislavov” – Sofia

-PG PO OBLEKLO “Stanka Nikolitsa Spasoelenina” – Razgrad

📚 Throughout the week, participants attended the following training courses:

🔹 “METHODS AND APPROACHES FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN AT RISK IN THE CLASSROOM”
🔹 “DIVERSITY IN THE CLASSROOM: TEACHING INCLUSION FOR OVERCOMING PREJUDICES AND DISCRIMINATION”
🔹 “SOFT SKILLS IN THE CLASSROOM”

The trainings were successfully completed, featuring active participation, exchange of best practices, and inspiring discussions focused on inclusive education, working with children at risk, and developing soft skills in the classroom.

🇪🇺 The teachers’ participation took place within the framework of their Erasmus+ projects, contributing to their professional development and strengthening international cooperation between educational institutions.

🎉We are starting the New Year with 3 training courses for teachers from Bulgaria.

🇹🇷🇧🇬This week, for the period between 9-15.02.2026, we host in Istanbul 15 teachers from "Dobri Zhelyazkov'' Vocational High School of Textiles and Apparel from Sliven, 66 SU “Filip Stanislavov” from Sofia and PG PO OBLEKLO "Stanka Nikolitsa Spasoelenina" from Razgrad.

📚They attend our training courses:

“METHODS AND APPROACHES FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN AT RISK IN CLASSROOM”

“DIVERSITY IN THE CLASSROOM: TEACHING INCLUSION FOR OVERCOMING PREJUDICES AND DISCRIMINATION”

“SOFT SKILLS IN THE CLASSROOM”

🇪🇺Their attendance is within the framework of their Erasmus+ projects.

👩‍🏫 Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming teachers from OU "Yane Sandanski" – Plovdiv, Bulgaria for a Job Shadowing Experience focused on professional exchange and learning. Their participation was withtin the framework of their "Erasmus+" project.

💼During their visit, the teachers had the opportunity to observe local educational practices, participate in discussions on innovative teaching methods, and gain valuable insights into projetc management, classroom management and student engagement.

💻The participants observed good practices in management and administrative affairs at the DEVAM International Center, gaining a broader understanding of how educational organizations operate effectively.

🏫Then, they visited a local school, where they exchanged ideas and experiences with colleagues, exploring different approaches to improving the learning environment and supporting students’ personal development.

👏 We are grateful for their motivation, openness, and dedication to continuous learning and improvement in education!

This week, we were glad to host two impactful training courses:
📘 “Methods and Approaches for Working with Children at Risk in the Classroom” and
💬 “Soft Skills in the Classroom.”

Teachers from OU "Aleko Konstantinov" – Plovdiv, Bulgaria took part in these sessions, aimed at enhancing their pedagogical competencies through developing emotional intelligence, effective communication, and classroom management strategies, especially those related to work with children at risk. Their participation was within the framework of "Erasmus+" program.

🏫As part of the program, the participants also visited a local school, where they had the opportunity to exchange good practices with fellow educators and learn more about the specifics of educational practices related to the training topics.

👏 A big thank you to all participants for their active involvement and enthusiasm in sharing knowledge and experience!

📚A recap from our trainings with the schools "Dragan Manchov" and "Aleko Konstantinov" from Plovdiv, Bulgaria. Their participation was within framework of their Erasmus + projects.

💡The training courses they attended were: "Entrepreneurship, Leadership, and Tolerance in the Classroom" and "Environmental Entrepreneurship and Leadership Skills in the Classroom".

📝The teachers enriched their methodology and upgraded their competences on the topics, implementing already new approaches in teaching in their schools.

🌐Stay tuned for the following trainings we will provide to facilitate and enrich the educational process in school!

The last days of our training course "Diversity in the Classroom: Teaching Inclusion for Overcoming Prejudices and Discrimination" were devoted to the topic of stereotypes, prejudices, and how to deal with them in the school environment. Inclusive teaching and sensitivity to the students' diverse backgrounds provoked discussions and exchanges of methods and approaches.

The successful end of the training was finalised with certification ceremony for the teachers from Secondary School "Petko Rachov Slaveykov", city of Karnobat, Bulgaria.

Their participation was within the framework of their Erasmus+ project "New perspectives towards the teaching in multicultural classroom" (2024-1-BG01-KA122-SCH-000213846).

Within the framework of our training "Diversity in the Classroom: Teaching Inclusion for Overcoming Prejudices and Discrimination", we organised a visit to a Turkish secondary school for the teachers from Karnobat. Knowledge about inclusive teaching was exchanged, the teachers learned from their colleagues about the curriculum, the use of digital tools in class for teaching purposes and specifics of the daily school work.
