Today is the feast of St. Stephen I of Hungary

The crown is composed of two parts, including the “Corona Graeca”, which was as a diplomatic gift from the court of Constantinople to the Hungarian king Géza I. The crown was probably sent to Hungary with his Byzantine aristocratic wife Synadene around 1075. The crown includes depictions of Christ Pantokrator, Emperor Michael VII Doukas, Constantine Doukas, and Géza I.
