TRAITS OF GOOD ENGINEERS
-Engineers are problem solvers.
-Engineers have a firm grasp of the fundamentals of engineering.
-Engineers apply physical and chemical laws and mathematics to design, develop, test, and supervise millions of products and services.
-Good engineers have written and oral communication skills.
-Good engineers are familiar to computer software in order to analyze and model different problems.
-Good engineers have time-management skills so they can do their works productively and efficiently.
-Good engineers are analytical, detail oriented, innovative, and creative.
-Good engineers are dedicated to lifelong learning and serving public.
-Good engineers actively participate in local and international seminars, conferences, workshops, and meetings.
-Good engineers are good team players.

WHO ARE ENGINEERS AND WHAT DO THEY DO?
An engineer is the one who learns physical and chemical laws and mathematics and apply them to design, develop, test, and supervise the manufacture of thousands of products and services.
Take a look at your daily routine and think how engineers are involved in our life. Here I will point at some of them:
1. We wake up in the morning and take a shower. The warm and clean water we use for our shower is provided by mechanical, civil, electric, electronic, and chemical engineers.
2. We put our foods in refrigerator to be kept fresh and healthy. Thanks to mechanical, chemical, electical, and electronic engineers.
3. We use electronic devices like TV, cell phones, computers, tablets, vacuum cleaner, washing machine etc to live comfortable. Again thanks to the effort of electrical, electronic, mechanical engineers.
3. The clothes we are wearing to keep us warm and protected are brought by agricultural, industrial, textile, and other engineers.
4. Air conditioner is used to arrange our rooms temperature so that we can live comfortable.
5. We use electricity to brighten our homes at night, recharge the electronic devices that we use them daily, run microwave, refrigerator, washing machine. Thanks to electrical engineers.
6. Architectural and civil engineers design and make esthetic, functional, comfortable and sustainable buildings to protect us from heat, cold, wind, rain and other environmental hazards.
Thanks to all engineers. They made our lives comfortable. We are proud of being an engineer.
