23 Temmuz 2026 tarihli Resmi Gazete’de yayımlanan Cumhurbaşkanlığı kararı ile Mudanya Üniversitesi Rektörlüğü görevine atanan Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik, mazbatasını YÖK Başkanı Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar’dan aldı. YÖK Başkanı Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, Rektör Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik’i tebrik ederek yeni görevinde başarılar diledi.

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik, who was appointed Rector of Mudanya University by a Presidential Decree published in the Official Gazette dated 23 July 2026, received his certificate of appointment from Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar, President of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK). Prof. Dr. Erol Özvar congratulated Rector Prof. Dr. Ahmet Kesik and wished him success in his new position.

Mühendislik, Mimarlık ve Tasarım Fakültesi öğrencilerimizin oluşturduğu Kuantum-Soft Takımı, Teknofest 2026 Kuantum Teknolojileri Yarışması Yazılım Kategorisi kapsamında 3 eleme aşamasından geçerek Türkiye genelinde ilk 10 takım arasına girerek finalist oldu. Hocalarımızı ve öğrencilerimizi tebrik ediyoruz.

The Kuantum-Soft Team, comprising students from our Faculty of Engineering, Architecture and Design, has successfully progressed through three qualifying rounds in the Software Category of the Teknofest 2026 Quantum Technologies Competition, securing a place amongst the top 10 teams nationwide and qualifying as finalists. We congratulate our academic staff and students.
