AEGEE-İzmir’li gençlerin 1998’de 6-8 Mart tarihleri arasında gerçekleştirdiği uluslararası ilk faaliyet olan “Levantens or Europeans” (Levantenler yada Avrupalılar) sempozyumu sayesinde AEGEE ağı tarafından Ponzan’daki İlkbahar Agora’sında resmen lokal olarak kabul edildi. Kurulduğu yıldan itibaren AEGEE-İzmir aktif olarak çalışmaya, ulusal ve uluslar arası alanda birçok organizasyon gerçekleştirm

eye devam etmiştir. AEGEE-İzmir şu anda İzmir’deki tüm Üniversitelerden ve çevre Üniversitelerden toplam 200 üyeye sahiptir.

AEGEE-İzmir was established in 1997 in Ege University. Due to the first international event that by the “Levantines or Europeans” symposia, the first international event that AEGEE-Izmir has realized, in 6-8 March 1998, it has been officially acceped as an antenna in the Spring Agora in Poznan. Since the year it was established, AEGEE İzmir has been actively working on national and international organisations. AEGEE-Izmir has 200 members from all universities in İzmir and around.
