Young people can help elderly find joy in living by simply making time for them. A meeting was organized between university students who are currently studying psychology at Abant Izzet Baysal University and a group of elderly people from the residence. The meeting was organized so that ideas can be shared and a dialogue established.

As part of our Grundtvig Project in Malta we had one of the elderly residents form our homes going to a day centre and giving the attendees ballroom dancing lessons.

Between the 17th and the 19th of March we had our third meet in Birmngham. Our stay in this vibrant developing city was enhanced with a meeting with the Birmingham City Council and visits to various organisations and groups which provide services to and by the Elderly.

Turkish partner Directorate of Family and Social Policies organized a training for the elderly in the framwork of project OPERA and the seniors were trained on how to use ATMs. The theoretical training was followed up with practical training in which the seniors learnt how to change passwords, password security, how to transfer money and similar topics which would make it easier for them to protect their financial security.
