“Breathe the Future - Hybrid Education in VET” Project Dissemination Event Organized

Antalya Provincial Directorate of National Education held the dissemination event of the project “Breathe the Future - Hybrid Education in VET” (hVET) (Project No: 2021-2-PL01-KA220-VET-000050664) which supports digital transformation in vocational and technical education on 18 February 2025.

Location: Foundation for Strengthening the Justice Organization Antalya Training and Social Facility Congress Center
Date: February 18, 2025

A total of 86 people attended the event, including 52 teachers, 26 students and 8 sector representatives (two participants each from the Antalya Union of Chambers of Tradesmen and Craftsmen, Antalya Provincial Directorate of Labor and Employment Agency, Western Mediterranean Agricultural Research Institute Directorate, Antalya Chamber of Commerce and Industry).

hVET Project and Objectives

hVET is a collaborative project of 6 partners to develop hybrid learning in vocational education, increase digital skills and promote student engagement.

Objectives:

Preparing vocational and technical education institutions for hybrid education processes,
To empower teachers in hybrid teaching,
Providing equal opportunities by closing the digital divide,
Increase learning opportunities for disadvantaged students,
Making vocational training more flexible and sustainable.
Project Outputs Presented at the Event

The five main outputs developed within the hVET project were introduced and demonstrated in practice at the event:

✅ PR1 - Hybrid Teaching Methodology: A model structuring hybrid teaching in VET schools was presented.
✅ PR2 - Online Certification Course: A training program for VET teachers enhancing digital competences was introduced.
✅ PR3 - Competence Assessment Tool: A digital tool to measure teachers' hybrid teaching skills was demonstrated.
✅ PR4 - Student Learning Style Test: An online analysis tool to identify students' learning styles was introduced.
✅ PR5 - Hybrid Education Game: An interactive game that increases students' adaptation to hybrid learning was presented.

All these products will be available in English, Polish, Greek, Portuguese and Turkish and can be accessed through the multilingual project website. They can also be freely used, shared and published under an open license. These results can be applied beyond country borders and school levels.



Practical Demonstrations with the Participation of Sector Representatives

Hybrid teaching applications were demonstrated interactively with industry representatives, teachers and students. The applicability of digital tools in VET schools and their contribution to the labor market were assessed.
