Serkan Kayhan, President of Ankara Toastmasters for the 2026-2027 term.

He is an industrial engineer and works as an SAP PEO consultant. He has been our member for more than 4 years and previously served as Sergeant at Arms, Treasurer, Vice President Education, President (2024-2025) and Area Director (2025-2026) for Toastmasters community.

Oğuz Yıldız is an agricultural engineer with M.Sc. and a Ph.D., he works as a OECD code 2 test engineer. He has been a member for 4 years and served as Vice President Education, Vice President Membership, and Sergeant at Arms.

He participated in numerous Toastmasters Speech Contests in both English and Turkish. In 2025 he represented Division H in the district-level Table Topics Contest at the Malta Conference. He won the Turkish Storytelling Contest in İzmir in 2026.

Görkem Mavi is a graduate of the Department of Philosophy at Bilkent University and have extensive experience in the fields of civil society, media, and communications.

Umay Şolpan has a BA degree in History from Boğaziçi University and currently works as a Senior Customer Experience Specialist in an international software company.

She has been a member since late 2025, she is a pole dancer, likes the color pink and Heated Rivalry.

Omer Mahdi is an International Infrastructure Development Consultant and Ph.D. Holder in Mechanics of Structures. He is an enthusiast about bodybuilding and fitness nutrition. He is also quadrilingual. (English, Turkish, Arabic and French)

Gizem Orhan has a B.Sc in Industrial Engineering and she is a Data & RPA Product Lead. She is a Lindy Hop dancer and a choir singer.

Hasan Abdioğlu is an Industrial engineer in the defence industry. He is our new treasurer.

Zeynep Aran works at TAV Esenboğa Airport where she delivers press releases to the general man

Ankara Toastmasters were awarded as President's Distinguished Club for 2025-2026 season as we were able to met the membership prerequisite and achieved nine of the 10 goals. Thank you to our members and friends. ✨✨Our next meeting is on July 14th ✨✨

Ankara Toastmasters, Meeting #1181: A Galactic Journey Through the Cosmos! 🌌🚀

Last night, we left gravity behind and embarked on a cosmic journey for our 1181st meeting! Inspired by the infinite wonders of the universe, our members and guests explored the depths of their imagination and public speaking skills.

TMOE: Zeynep ARAN masterfully piloted our spacecraft as the Toastmaster of the Evening, keeping our mission perfectly on track through the stars.

TTM: Tiffany Anning challenged our quick-thinking astronauts with brilliant, cosmos-themed impromptu questions that truly took our Table Topics session out of this world!

A massive thank you to everyone who joined our orbit last night!

Time flies, but legacies endure! As the first and most established public speaking club in the capital, we are beyond proud to celebrate our 30th Anniversary.

For three decades, this podium has been a sanctuary for transformation—helping hundreds of individuals conquer stage fright, discover their unique voice, and step into global leadership roles. We have added immense value to countless lives, and the best part?

We are just getting started. There are still so many more stories to tell and leaders to empower. 🚀

A massive thank you to everyone who has built, supported, and carried this incredible legacy forward.
