"MUSIC FOR ALL" It is the project which brings the professional musicians and children living in suburban areas together. The aim of the project is providing sustainable opportunities of musical education to children who cannot afford it and increasing the awareness of the effects of music on the self-development of children. This sustainable project reaches nearly 130 children in total in five different sub-categories. These sub-categories are Children’s Choir, Violin Teaching by Suzuki method, Flute teaching, Rhythm Teaching and Musical Instruments lessons. All children’s are from 6 to 12. Professional musicians and educators help the children voluntarily every weekend. Music for All is very-well related and integrated with the primary goal of the association because there is no selection process for motivated children and UCA supplies everything used in the project.

Today, we came together for the first member meeting of our Association after General Assembly. New members subscribed to our Association. We will organize member meetings periodically.

The very first meeting of the Board is done on 20th September 2012. We disscussed possible project scopes and organizational structure of the Association. We are very excited about "university-community" cooperation idea and the goal of spreading out all over the country, for which we dearly expect your support.

University Community Association, after the meetings with the officials of European Commission and European Youth Forum in April 2011 in Brussels, in the capital
city of Belgium, has been founded with the aim of accomplishing national or Turkey centered international youth organizations which is a lack in the field of civil youth wprk area in our country.

Team building activities has been initialized in March 2012 after a year long organizational structure investigation and area of influence analysis.

Creating cultural and scientific networks between university and community, developing projects for the university to be open to the community and vice versa are some of the primary objectives of our association.

Foundation studies of the association lasted until May 25, 2012 and the formal application was made to the Provincial Directorate of Associations Panel of Ankara Governship of Turkish Republic.
