📢 Important Week 9 Update
Dear Ocean of Light Family,
Please note that an updated Week 9 School Memo has been issued. We apologise for any confusion the previous information may have caused and thank you for your patience and understanding.
📚 Key Reminders for This Week
🔹 ECE to Class 2 students will continue with their normal classroom programme throughout the week.
🔹 Class 3 to Class 6 students will sit their Mid-Year Examinations from Tuesday, 9 June, to Thursday, 11 June. They will return to normal classroom learning on Friday, 12 June.
🔹 High School Students: Friday, 12 June, is the final day of Mid-Year Examinations. Only students scheduled to sit an examination on that day are required to attend school.
🔹 All students are expected to return to their normal classroom programme on Monday, 15 June 2026.
🌟 We wish all our students every success in their examinations and sincerely thank our parents and guardians for their continued support and encouragement throughout the assessment period.

Primary School students (Class 3-6) begin their Mid-Year Examinations this week, while High School students enter their final week of exams. Kindly note that ECE to Class 2 has a normal school week.

🌊 World Ocean Day

📚 Term 3 Tuition Fees
Term 3 tuition fee payments remain open until Tuesday, 14 July 2026, the first day of Term 3.
To avoid the 10% late payment penalty, parents and guardians are encouraged to settle fees before the start of term. Early payment also assists the school in preparing resources and services for our students.
🎓 AS Level (Form 6) Cambridge Examination Fees
A gentle reminder that the Cambridge AS Level examination fee is TOP$295 per subject.
Examination fees should be paid between 4 August and 18 August 2026 (Weeks 4–6 of Term 3) to support the timely processing of examination registrations.
📝 Cambridge Information Session – Parent Survey
Ocean of Light is planning a Cambridge Information Session for parents and guardians to share information about:

• Cambridge requirements and assessments
• Educational and career pathways

📢 Important Update: High School Mid-Year Examination Schedule
Dear Parents and Guardians,
Please note an important update to the High School Mid-Year Examination timetable.
To allow examinations to conclude earlier in the day, all afternoon examination sessions will now commence at 12:00 p.m. instead of 1:00 p.m., as previously announced.
Students are required to report to the examination venue 30 minutes before the scheduled start time:
🕘 Morning Sessions: 9:00 a.m.
🕛 Afternoon Sessions: 12:00 p.m.
The updated examination timetable and invigilation schedule are attached for your reference. Please check your emails to access attachment.

📘 MID-YEAR EXAMINATION NOTICE | CLASS 3 – AS LEVEL (FORM 6)
Dear Ocean of Light Families,
As we approach the Mid-Year Examination period scheduled from 1–11 June (Weeks 8–9), we kindly seek your support in helping students prepare well for their examinations and follow the examination timetable, CIE guidelines, and school uniform expectations shared with families. Check your emails for the attachments or pick up a copy from the school.
Please note:
🔹 High School students begin examinations on 1 June
🔹 Primary School students begin examinations on Tuesday, 9 June
This notice is intended specifically for parents and guardians of students in Class 3 to AS Level (Form 6).
📌 KEY EXAMINATION GUIDELINES
1️⃣ Examination Venues
• High School exams — Multipurpose Hall
• Primary School exams — Students’ respective classrooms
2️⃣ Full School Uniform
All students must attend every examination in full school uniform.
3️⃣ Arrival Time
Students are required to report 30 minutes before the examination begins:
• Morning Sessions: 9:00 AM
• Afternoon Sessions: 12:00 PM
4️⃣ Clash Timetables
Students with two examinations on the same day will remain under full centre supervision between papers. Only notebooks or revision notes may be used. Electronic devices are strictly prohibited.
5️⃣ Punctuality
Students are expected to arrive on time for all examinations.
6️⃣ Prohibited Items
Phones, tablets, laptops, smartwatches, and other electronic devices are not allowed in the examination room. Only approved examination materials, including calculators where required, may be used.
7️⃣ 45-Minute Papers
For shorter examination papers, students must remain in the examination room for at least 15 minutes before dismissal.
8️⃣ Departure After Exams
Students are expected to return home immediately after completing their examinations. Parents and guardians are kindly requested to make timely pick-up arrangements.
